Pros
Clean, balanced and highly detailed presentation with natural midrange, airy treble and clearly separated images.
Powerful, controlled dynamics: it stays composed at high levels, handles fast transients confidently and delivers deep bass without congestion.
Strong build and system flexibility, including balanced and unbalanced inputs, gain controls, loop outputs, triggers, and 500W bridged-mono operation.
Cons
Soundstage depth was good rather than class-leading in one system.
Its honest, unembellished midrange will not suit listeners seeking added vocal lushness or warmth.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 92/100
Reviewers found the A23+ notably clean, balanced, and controlled, with an open yet unforced presentation. It combines vivid definition and strong dynamic authority with a believable, if not class-leading in depth, soundstage.
Transparency Resolution
93/100
HomeTheaterHifi heard a crisp, detailed and airy presentation, with clearly defined musical edges that avoided an analytical character. SoundStage Solo likewise praised its clarity, quietness, and ability to let recordings shine through with detail, accuracy, and refinement.
Tonal Balance Musicality
92/100
The tonal balance was repeatedly described as neutral, accurate, and well judged across the frequency range. Vocals and midrange instruments came across as natural and honest rather than lushly colored, while bass was full and tuneful and treble airy and detailed.
Dynamics
94/100
Both reviews highlight confident power delivery and control: the A23+ remained composed at high volume, handled rapid transients effortlessly, and delivered dramatic punch without losing delicacy. Reviewers also heard tight attacks, strong grip in quiet passages, and deep, controlled low-frequency performance without congestion.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
Reviewers heard distinct, stable images with clearly separated instruments and a soundstage extending beyond the speakers. HomeTheaterHifi found the depth good but not as deep as its reference expectation, while SoundStage Solo praised the defined images and clear instrumental layers.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
93/100
The A23+ was described as solidly constructed, stylishly finished, and unusually high in perceived build quality for its asking price. Its implementation includes balanced and unbalanced inputs, individual gain controls, loop outputs, trigger capability, and stereo or bridged-mono operation; in bridged mode it is rated to deliver 500W into 8 ohms.
Value for Money
93/100
Value commentary was emphatically positive. HomeTheaterHifi said the performance easily justified its reviewed $1,595 price, while SoundStage Solo called it great value and stated that it had not heard better sound or seen higher build quality at that price.
