Dual Signature Tuning by LP

Unlike standard products that rely on EQ or digital filters to tailor a fixed sound, LP employs both waveform analysis and auditory evaluation to develop two distinct sound signatures.

You can easily switch between them:

TUNE01: Offers a wider, airier presentation, ideal for vocals and human voice-centric tracks.

TUNE02: Provides precision and control, ideal for symphonic works or complex arrangements.

High Output, Low Distortion, Low Power Consumption

The W2 Ultra outputs up to 890mW at 32Ω, while maintaining low noise floor and excellent time-domain accuracy. Even with ±6V mode activated, power consumption was measured at only around 4% battery drain per hour on a smartphone.

Thanks to LP's advanced copper shielding, thermal treatment methods, and power-efficient circuit design, high output no longer means high power drain. The result is a reference-grade sound—pure, clean, and free of harshness.

Expansive Dynamic Range

With an extremely low THD+N of approximately -92dB, the W2 Ultra delivers crystal-clear and immersive sound with delicate nuance.

Refined "Classical" Sound Signature

The W2 Ultra refines the classic LP tuning philosophy using dual CS43131 DAC chips.

It offers a zero-noise, ultra-clean sound even when paired with sensitive low-impedance IEMs or under high output loads. Precision engineering eliminates unwanted noise while enabling rich, expressive playback.

A variety of preset EQs and IEM-focused tuning options are available to suit all preferences.

Precision Meets Purpose – LP's Philosophy

LP's engineers researched the relationship between amp voltage and driver sensitivity. The result:

• PAV Switching Mode, which optimizes voltage for IEMs and full-size headphones.
• SDF Switching Mode, which adjusts the output style based on the sonic characteristics of specific IEM/headphone models. When SDF + High Gain are combined, even ultra-demanding flagship headphones can be fully driven.
