Lehmann Audio Decade Jubilee
We at Lehmannaudio love challenges. It’s our special ambition to make something really excellent still better in a clear and sustainable manner. Now we proudly present our Decade Jubilee phono amplifier which catches up impressively with our top of the range model Silver Cube.
Even for the most demanding pleasure listeners the Decade Jubilee raises playing back of records to a new level. To this end it has got the entire passive RIAA network from its big brother Silver Cube – for an infatuating music reproduction. Owing to the available customising options, even the most exotic pickups will find their perfect game partner in the Decade Jubilee.
Ease and playfulness that will get under your skin
Thanks to its powerful discrete output stage the Decade Jubilee can show off with all its sonic assets even when using long cables. The reproduction is clear down to the finest details and characterised by an effortless ease.
And it’s also easy to operate: all important functions can be switched conveniently via toggles on the front panel of the audio section. Inside the device the signals reach their destination in dual mono via one relay per channel. This clearly improves the crosstalk behaviour and helps to keep the signal paths short. Hence you will enjoy your music in an even more 3D-like and immediate way – as if you were at a live concert!
With the PWX II LC power supply the audio section has an adequate support by its side. Due to the significantly increased use of copper and an elaborate capacitor upgrade, the revised power pack is now an appropriately sovereign energy source. This enables the Decade Jubilee to handle transients even faster. Both the audio section and the power supply rest on the 3S feet that were specially refined by Lehmannaudio and bring total calmness into the sound image.
No matter what kind of music you love – the Decade Jubilee will enchant you with its clarity and truly touch you!

Lehmann Audio Decade Jubilee
The Decade Jubilee distils Lehmannaudio's engineering into a compact, two-box MM/MC phono stage that impresses with a very low noise floor and natural, uncoloured midrange. Reviewers from Adam Smith / HiFi News, Matt Bonaccio / SoundStage Solo and Michael Fremer / Tracking Angle praise its spacious imaging, revealing treble and articulate, well-controlled bass (with the roll-off switch off). The Jubilee's upgraded PWX II LC PSU, passive RIAA from the Silver Cube lineage, Mundorf components and vibration-damping feet support clean dynamics and stage scale. With four gain steps and wide loading/capacitance options it suits both MM and low-output MC cartridges, making it ideal for listeners seeking studio-like neutrality and finesse. At its price the Jubilee is presented as a high-value, near-reference phono stage for serious analog enthusiasts.
Pros
- Exceptionally low noise floor and very quiet backgrounds, yielding excellent transparency and detail retrieval.
- Flexible MM/MC compatibility with four gain settings and extensive loading/capacitance options for optimal cartridge matching.
- Musical, neutral tonality with strong midrange presence and expansive, well-layered soundstage.
- Premium two-box design and upgraded power supply/components (Mundorf caps, multi‑layer PCB, vibration-damping feet) that reinforce clarity and control.
&
Cons
- Transient attack and ultimate slam are a touch softer than very expensive reference designs.
- The 'soft bass' / rumble roll-off is aggressive and can remove too much low end if engaged.
- Rear-panel RCA jacks are not silkscreened, which is a minor usability niggle during setup.
Transparency
92/100
Both reviewers emphasize an exceptionally low noise floor: Tracking Angle calls it 'Super quiet' with 'excellent S/N ratio specs', and HiFi News praises 'suppression of background noise...in both MM and MC settings' and 'lack of hiss when silent.' Minor spec realities (MC SNR listed at 69 dB) are outweighed by multiple reviewers hearing a very black background, so transparency is rated very highly but not absolute reference-level perfection.
Sound Quality
88/100
Dynamics are lively and engaging on many tracks—reviewers note 'full-bodied' and 'in full control' delivery—yet both reviewers mention transients are a touch soft compared with very expensive references and that it doesn't always deliver the deepest 'welly' bass impact. The unit preserves micro-dynamics well but isn't the last word in slam and ultimate transient speed.
Cartridge Compatibility
94/100
The Jubilee supports both MM and MC with four gain settings (36/46/56/66 dB), multiple impedance options (47k, 1k, 100Ω plus a custom load), and capacitance from 47 pF to 1,370 pF; dipswitch and board solder options give extensive flexibility. Reviewers praise its ability to 'make the best of MC cartridges' and excel with MM, so it's essentially a fully adjustable MM/MC solution suited to a wide range of cartridges.
Build Quality
90/100
Fit and finish are described as excellent with brushed-aluminium panels, multi-layer PCB and vibration-dissipating feet; connectors are high quality (gold-plated RCA). Minor practical niggles (rear jacks not silkscreened) prevent a perfect score, but overall construction and the two-box power arrangement are clearly premium.
Value for Money
90/100
Both reviewers express strong value praise: Tracking Angle positions it as a compelling step up that can 'work miracles' with budget transducers, and HiFi News calls it one of the best MM performances heard at any price. Given the reviewers' positive framing relative to peers and price, the Jubilee justifies a premium but is seen as well worth its cost.
