Information
There are countless stereo integrated amplifiers available on the market. In all price ranges, expansive or compact, the equipment is puristic or luxurious. The offer is almost impossible to survey. So why should you take a closer look at the IOTAVX SA3? Quite simply: It should be difficult to find a comparable technical quality for the internal structure and the assemblies used with other manufacturers in this price range. This high quality is still combined with a flat, cleanly processed and chic housing. The SA3 takes up little space, and despite its high performance, it integrates perfectly into practically any living space.
With 90 watts per channel (at 4 ohms), the IOTAVX SA3 provides enough power for the operation of loudspeakers that have only average efficiency. At the same time, it is not difficult to use the integrated amplifier in the larger listening room without restrictions. The built-in Class AB amplifier works with a high degree of efficiency, moreover it is impulse-true and low in distortion. The high quality components in the prepress ensure the shortest possible signal paths and a high acoustic purity. D / A converters from the well-known Wolfson brand ensure very precise conversion of digital signals into analog ones.
The equipment of the SA3 is also impressive. A Phono MM preamplifier, tone control for bass and treble range, five cinch inputs as well as an optical plus a coaxial digital input - everything the stereo fan needs is on board. A Bluetooth dongle is optionally available. In addition, the SA3 can be combined with the IOTAVX stereo power amplifier PA3 thanks to the appropriate connection options - then a whopping 180 watts per channel are available.
Functions:
The SA3 integrated amplifier has a tone control, which enables an optimal adaptation of the sound to your listening room and your taste. Both the bass and the treble can be raised or lowered by up to 10 dB in 1 dB steps. In addition, the balance between the left and right loudspeaker can also be adjusted, here also in 10 steps to the left and 10 steps to the right.
IOTAVX Bluetooth Connectivity
In addition to the digital and analog connection options, music can be streamed directly to the SA3 by using the optional Bluetooth receiver module, from a smartphone or another Bluetooth-enabled device. This module is plugged directly into the extension port on the back of the SA3 and supports the latest Bluetooth AptX HD audio standard.
Quality Promise
The IOTAVX SA3 not only sounds fantastic, we also manufacture it with a heavy steel housing and high-quality components. This is how we ensure that you can enjoy your IOTAVX SA3 for a long time.

IOTAVX SA3 — compact, feature-rich integrated amplifier
The IOTAVX SA3 pairs a compact steel chassis with a surprisingly expansive soundstage, making it a standout in the sub-£400 class. Reviewers at The Audiophile Man praise its wide, airy imaging and separation across the midband. Sonically the SA3 leans a touch solid-state with a slight upper-mid emphasis and mildly rolled treble, but delivers notable bass punch and tight transients that keep dynamics engaging. Feature-wise it packs a Wolfson DAC, MM phono stage, optical/coax inputs, pre/sub outs and an optional Bluetooth dongle — a rare suite at this price. Build is solid steel with bridge/mono capability and trigger/RS‑232 control. Ideal for small systems or compact racks where connectivity, an open soundstage and strong value matter.
Pros
- Broad, wide-angled soundstage with good separation and air across the midband, outperforming many budget rivals.
- Very well featured for the price — Wolfson DAC, MM phono stage, optical/coax, pre/sub outs and optional Bluetooth dongle provide rare connectivity in this segment.
- Engaging dynamics and bass punch for a 45W/channel Class AB design; transients and attack remain controlled and lively.

Cons
- Slight 'solid-state' upper-mid emphasis and mildly rolled treble can reduce subtlety and introduce a forward balance on some recordings.
- Built-in MM phono stage is serviceable for starters but reviewers recommend upgrading to an external phono preamp for better vinyl performance.

Dynamics
85/100
As a Class AB 45W/ch design, the SA3 delivers commendable punch and transient snap for its power band — reviewers note bass punch and clear attack on percussion and guitars. There are mentions of slight compression and limited subtlety in dynamics (especially in upper mids/treble), so while it is lively and controlled for its class it is not reference-level.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
Multiple review passages praise a broad, wide-angled soundstage with good separation and air across the midband; streamed sources via the Bluetooth dongle also benefited from the amp's 'wide-screen' presentation. Imaging is a standout for the price, delivering depth and space beyond what one might expect from a compact budget integrated.

Build Quality
84/100
Constructed in a steel chassis and compact form factor, the SA3 feels solid for a budget piece; internal design supports bridging and multiple I/O options. It isn't high-end boutique construction, but the materials, layout and included remote/trigger options reflect a well-made, practical product for its segment.
Features Connectivity
94/100
Very well featured for the price: five RCA inputs, optical and coax digital inputs with a Wolfson DAC, MM phono stage, pre-out, record outs, sub out, headphone out, trigger/RS-232, and optional Bluetooth via an extension dongle. The combination of DAC + phono + headphone output + digital I/O and bridging/mono mode pushes this into the fully-featured tier for a budget integrated.
Value for Money
90/100
Reviewer explicitly frames the SA3 as a budget model (~£399) and praises its performance and feature set as a 'real bonus' at that price; multiple positive value references justify a strong value score. Given its features and sonic strengths relative to its sub-£400 positioning, the price is described as well justified.
