ifi Audio GO bar

Small size. Big sound.

The GO bar may be the size of a USB stick, but with powerful sound customisation and 10x the output power of your iPhone*, it’s your portable audio powerhouse - ready for any adventure.

Go, Go, GO!

The GO bar is your ultimate portable solution for heavenly headphone sound, whether commuting, working, or traveling for pleasure. Simply connect it to your laptop, MacBook, tablet, smartphone, or any USB-equipped device for sensational sound anywhere. It comes with a leather travel case, Lightning to USB-C cable (no need for a Camera Connection Kit), USB-C OTG cable, and USB-C to USB-A adapter.

Balance of power

The GO bar, despite its compact size, features advanced analogue circuitry with a balanced twin-channel design. By fully separating the left and right channels, it reduces noise and crosstalk, a feature typically found in larger and more expensive amplifiers. It is packed with premium components and optimized power supply filtering, it significantly reduces signal noise from the USB input for an exceptional listening experience.

Limited edition

GO bar Eclipse

Cloaked in a Lunar Sapphire finish, our exclusive GO bar Eclipse is as rare as its name.

Aligned with CanJam Hong Kong’s inaugural event, our GO bar has been upgraded to mark this special occasion.

With enhanced power supply filtering for purer sound, you’ll have to be quick to see these numbered pieces before they vanish into the night.

Suits you, sir

Four bespoke digital filtering options:

• Bit Perfect – no digital filtering, no pre or post ringing
• Standard – modest filtering, modest pre and posting ringing
• Minimum Phase – slow roll-off, minimum pre and post ringing
• Gibbs Transient Optimised minimum filtering, no pre-ringing and minimum post ringing

Two analogue processing modes:

• XBass+  – an analogue bass boost to ‘add back’ lost bass response for more accurate reproduction of the original
• XSpacea holographic sound field to open up your music to give you the spaciousness of a live concert

External affairs

The GO bar’s smart alloy case sports physical buttons for precise volume adjustment plus controls to select between various sonic tuning options. A column of coloured LEDs provides a handy guide to the format and sample rate of the digital audio currently playing, and whether XBass+ and/or XSpace are engaged.

At one end is an asynchronous USB-C input and at the other a pair of headphone outputs.

• 4.4mm fully balanced output – headphones with a balanced cable/connector can benefit from the fully balanced circuitry of the GO bar
• 3.5mm S-Balanced output – our S-Balanced tech cuts crosstalk and noise by 50% with regular single-ended headphones.

Purity and power

The amp’s design combines sonic purity with power.

• 475mW max. into 32 ohms
• 7.5V max. into 600 ohms

No headphone amp of such a diminutive size can match the GO bar’s ability to drive tricky headphone loads or work with a wider variety of headphones.

The GO Bar has 2 power tuning technologies: iEMatch and Turbo

Ready for anything

Android users will appreciate the USB-C OTG cable, which can also be used with USB-C-equipped PCs and Macs; a USB-C to USB-A adapter is also included, thus covering most bases straight out of the box.

Apple users will love the bespoke Lightning to USB-C cable, engineered by iFi so you don’t need to add Apple’s Camera Adapter dongle to use the GO bar with iOS devices, as you do with other USB DACs – thus reducing bulk and cost.
