Rating for [object Object]

Nicely Roasted

Boasts a transparent soundstage and precise imaging, the compact Prestige Facet 6B BT delivers airy, detailed mids and treble with surprisingly controlled low-end for its size, plus flexible inputs and aptX Bluetooth for modern sources. Reviewers such as Gordon Brockhouse and Audiophilepure noted its clarity and polish, making it a compelling starter or secondary system.

SoundStage Solo

"Sonically, Elipson’s Facet Prestige 6B BT has a lot to offer—expansive soundstaging, precise imaging, and excellent detail."

Pros

  • Expansive, highly transparent soundstage with pinpoint imaging—many recordings place instruments clearly and convincingly.
  • Detailed, expressive midrange that renders vocals and piano with clarity and presence.
  • Rich feature set and connectivity—aptX Bluetooth, phono/line, optical input and subwoofer output—for versatile modern and analog use.

&

Cons

  • Treble can be bright or sizzly at higher levels, producing occasional stridency and hot sibilants on some recordings.
  • Limited deep-bass extension for large-orchestra or very low notes—kettle drums and the lowest double-bass notes can lack body.
  • Amplified speaker is fixed to the left channel and the supplied speaker cable’s polarity markings are faint, which can complicate placement and setup.

Sound Quality

87/100

Bass

84/100

5.5" (140mm) mid/bass driver in a rear-ported cabinet with measured response to ~57Hz. Reviewers noted the lowest notes could be a little faint and kettle drum lacked body, yet bass was controlled and less boomy than some peers; for its bookshelf size it delivers tidy, well-controlled extension without heavy boom.

Mid

86/100

Reviewers consistently praised convincing, detailed midrange and clear dialogue; however a slightly forward/edgy character was noted (exaggerated breathiness, some sibilance and rasp), indicating lively but not entirely neutral mid voicing.

Treble

84/100

Treble is detailed with 'gorgeous metallic clarity' on cymbals, but several notes in the upper-middle were described as hard or sizzly and can become strident at high levels. Good extension and air, with occasional brightness depending on program material and level.

Soundstage Imaging

92/100

Both reviewers emphasised a wide, deep and highly transparent soundstage with precise placement — instruments often appeared 'divorced from the speakers' and locked in place. Imaging and stereo separation are standout strengths.

Dynamics

90/100

Fast transients, palpable low-end impact on drums/double bass and good decay tracking were repeatedly noted. The speakers convey micro- and macro-dynamics well for their class, showing lively, expressive performance.

Build Quality

90/100

0.7" MDF cabinets with internal bracing read as impressively inert in reviewer tests; fit and finish praised and compared favourably to some competitors. Overall craftsmanship and enclosure stiffness appear high for the price.

Features Connectivity

92/100

Active/powered design with aptX Bluetooth, RCA phono/line, 3.5mm aux, optical input, and an LFE/subwoofer output plus remote and onboard bass/treble EQ. Connectivity and feature set are strong and flexible for music and TV use.

Value for Money

88/100

Priced around $669-$699, reviewers called the package a compelling starter/high-value system with strong imaging and features. Noted voicing (a bit lively/bright) keeps it from an unequivocal "best-in-class" label, but overall performance per dollar is attractive.
