Dali SPEKTOR VOKAL
Wood Fibre Cones
Our low-loss drivers combine low-mass paper cones with wood fibre for an uneven surface that eliminates resonance and reveals every detail.
Amplifier Friendly
The amplifier-friendly design makes it a perfect fit for almost any stereo amplifier or surround receiver in its price category.
Soft Dome Tweeter
The ultra lightweight, weaved fabric dome tweeter offers best-in-class resolution with extended frequency response, wide dispersion and low colouration.
Low Signal Loss
The custom DALI drivers eliminate the need for crossover frequency correction for close-to-zero signal loss.
THE CENTRE OF ATTENTION
Delivering clarity & depth to any movie
Taking centre stage, the SPEKTOR VOKAL brings clarity and depth to any movie soundtrack. We've applied decades of experience within speaker design and production to create a centre speaker that's affordable and sounds great. The SPEKTOR VOKAL offers detailed, dynamic and powerful audio and is the perfect match for the other SPEKTOR series speakers in a multichannel surround setup..
WIDE DISPERSION
Easy integration in any room
The driver materials and geometry of the SPEKTOR VOKAL are purpose-designed to achieve a wide dispersion pattern. By dispersing the sound around a room more widely, what you hear has more coherent balance, consistentcy and quality – even off-axis. Wide dispersion also gives you more flexibility when it comes to positioning the SPEKTOR VOKAL.
TWEETER
Rendering high frequencies with accuracy
Made from ultra-lightweight woven fabric, the SPEKTOR VOKAL dome tweeter renders high frequencies with exceptional accuracy. Compared with most other soft dome tweeters, our dome material is less than half the weight (0.056 mg per mm2). The tweeter's impressive ability to reproduce even the lowest parts of the high-frequency range without any breakup means that every detail in the midrange frequencies is retained, even during the critical handover between the tweeter and woofer.
WOOFER
Developed specifically for this speaker
The SPEKTOR VOKAL features two 4½" woofers that have been developed specifically for this speaker. Details such as the angle of our signature DALI wood fibre cone and the size of the dust cap have been optimised for the best possible integration, dispersion and performance. Also, the cone membrane is a mix of fine-grain paper and wood fibre pulp, which makes the woofers extremely rigid and lightweight, while the uneven structure helps minimise unwanted surface resonances.
LOW LOSS
Smooth, seamless audio
The function of any loudspeaker is to convert the electrical signal from an amplifier into a realistic audio experience for the listener, while minimising losses in the signal. The clarity of sound you'll experience from the SPEKTOR series is the result of our commitment to producing low-loss speakers with smooth and seamless sound reproduction in both the time and frequency domain. By using only DALI designed, custom built drivers and crossovers made from quality components, DALI SPEKTOR speakers achieve a signal loss close to zero.

Dali SPEKTOR VOKAL — a compact centre that delivers big, engaging sound
Affirmed by reviewers as a superb-value centre speaker, the SPEKTOR VOKAL brings a natural, warm midrange and an impressively spacious soundstage for its modest footprint. What Hi‑Fi? praises the package as "A quality speaker package that's up there with the very best at the money" — a sentiment that applies directly to the Vokal when partnered with able amplification.
Sonic highlights include a weighty, human-sounding midband that gives dialogue presence, a rich but unfussy treble from the 25mm soft-dome tweeter, and surprisingly controlled low-end courtesy of the twin 4½" woofers. Imaging is a strength: reviewers note an "impressively spacious soundstage" and lively, snappy timing that keeps effects moving cleanly around the room.
Build quality mirrors the sonic intent — lightweight woven tweeters and wood-fibre-reinforced paper cones reduce resonance while looking smart. With 87dB sensitivity and a recommended 40–120W amplifier, the Vokal suits compact to medium living-room systems and matches the SPEKTOR family for a cohesive AV front-end. For buyers seeking a communicative, value-driven centre speaker, the SPEKTOR VOKAL punches well above its size.
Pros
- Spacious, well-defined imaging that supports convincing surround presentation, enhancing effects and dialogue placement.
- Natural, warm midrange with plenty of weight for voices — delivers human, expressive dialogue performance.
- Controlled, punchy low-frequency response for its driver size; pairs well with a sub for added scale without sounding loose.
- Attractive, well-executed build: uniform lightweight woven tweeter and wood‑fibre cones minimise resonance and match the SPEKTOR family.

Cons
- Centre speaker expression is strong but can be bettered by rival centre speakers when extreme dynamic control is required.
Sound Quality
88/100
Bass
85/100
Two 4½" woofers (tiny-class) deliver more low-end response than expected for the driver size: reviewers say the quintet is “not lacking in response” and that a sub adds scale but isn’t strictly required. Controlled, musical bass that punches above its physical footprint.
Mid
89/100
Reviewers praise vocal weight and warmth — “plenty of weight and warmth to voices,” giving dialogue a human element. Timbre is natural and expressive, though some competitors may be a touch more revealing.
Treble
88/100
Soft-dome 25mm tweeter yields rich, natural treble: reviewers call it a balanced, unfussy top end with good detail and no harshness reported.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
Reportedly spacious and enveloping: What Hi‑Fi notes an “impressively spacious soundstage” with effects that move cleanly around the room, supporting convincing surround imaging.
Dynamics
86/100
Timing and rhythmic snap are highlighted (“snappy timing is still an eye‑opener”), giving lively presentation; a few notes indicate rivals can be slightly more expressive in extreme dynamics.

Build Quality
89/100
Attractive design and consistent driver materials: reviewers note lightweight woven tweeters and wood-fibre reinforced paper cones that minimise resonance and look well executed.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive single‑post bookshelf baseline applied. No penalty for lack of DSP/streaming; passive baseline score used.
Value for Money
90/100
Rated as strong value by reviewers — “a quality speaker package that's up there with the very best at the money” and given five stars. Performance compares favourably to peers at the stated price.
