Value for Money
76/100
Built for room-filling scale, Dali’s RUBIKORE 8 combines punchy, neutral bass, a vast wide-dispersion soundstage, and remarkably precise imaging. James Larson found its midrange natural, dynamics immense, and low-end extension satisfyingly authoritative. Its hybrid-tweeter array delivers detail without sacrificing spaciousness when positioned straight ahead, making it a compelling large-room floorstander for music and cinema.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Expansive, enveloping soundstage with sharp, precisely focused imaging.
Punchy, neutral bass with strong extension and enough output to energize large rooms.
Very wide dynamic range, playing loudly with impactful transients and little listening fatigue.

Cons
At $12,000 per pair, its value proposition faces strong competition from less expensive floorstanders.
Treble can sound too elevated on-axis, so careful straight-ahead placement rather than toe-in is important.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 92/100
Reviewers describe a large-scale, balanced and highly capable presentation, combining forceful bass and broad dynamics with a notably enveloping yet well-focused soundstage. The main tonal caveat is a treble balance that can become prominent for listeners seated close to the on-axis line.
Bass
94/100
Audioholics found the low end fully represented, punchy and neutral, with bass drums and low organ notes reproduced powerfully. The discussion review likewise calls it tight, deep and capable of filling a large room, although demanding very-low-frequency material revealed some compression.
Mid
92/100
The midrange is described as neutral and well controlled. Vocals were reported to have exceptional articulation while still sounding natural and realistic.
Treble
86/100
The hybrid tweeter arrangement offers strong output, but the measured and listening commentary identifies an elevated treble balance on axis. Moving to a more typical off-axis listening position reportedly calms this down and produces a more neutral overall tonality.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
Reviewers were especially impressed by the combination of wide dispersion, a very broad and enveloping stage, and tightly located images. Individual instruments were said to occupy specific positions without the broad stage becoming smeared.
Dynamics
94/100
The RUBIKORE 8 is repeatedly characterized as punchy, able to play loudly, and equipped with a very wide dynamic range. Reviewers found it capable of handling substantial power and delivering hard-hitting musical peaks.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
87/100
Audioholics describes the enclosure as stout, adequately braced, and free of audible ringing or resonance. The cabinet is not presented as extravagantly overbuilt, but the reviewer found the overall execution sound and appropriate.
Value for Money
76/100
At the reviewed $12,000-per-pair asking price, Audioholics considered the RUBIKORE 8 expensive and questioned whether its performance could not be matched by less costly floorstanding alternatives. The review is positive about its sound, but does not regard the premium as easy to justify against its rivals.
