TRUE WIRELESS STEREO
Just add another KATCH G2
If you have two DALI KATCH G2 speakers you can create a true wireless stereo system. With two speakers, not only do you benefit from true stereo imaging, the two KATCH G2s also combine to deliver much higher undistorted sound and improved bass performance.
SOFT DOME TWEETERS
Detailed, accurate and agile response
Driven by a strong neodymium magnet, the KATCH G2's two lightweight 21 mm soft dome tweeters deliver detailed, accurate and agile high-frequency sound while taking up minimal space. The large surface area also helps the tweeters reach down into the midrange frequencies for seamless integration with the KATCH G2's two woofers.
LOW-PROFILE WOOFERS
Delivering powerful lower frequencies
Generating powerful midrange and bass from the KATCH G2's shallow cabinet seems like an impossibility... but we did it. By pairing two unconventional 3½" aluminium woofers with a passive driver, the KATCH G2 uses every millimetre of internal depth to move as much air as possible, even at midrange frequencies. The combination of the aluminium cone and soft fabric dust cap also help to lower surface resonances and retain detail and clarity.
IMMERSIVE AUDIO
Drivers on both sides for more immersion
Bringing the DALI sound to the DALI KATCH G2 was all about selecting, designing, and using the right parts for the job. The sound from the DALI KATCH G2 is rendered by a 2-way stereo speaker system with a large passive membrane supporting the woofer in the otherwise closed cabinet. By placing drivers on both sides of the DALI KATCH G2, the sound integrates with the entire room for an immersive audio experience.

Bass
89/100
Reviewers repeatedly praise the Katch G2's passive radiators and dual 3.5" woofers for producing surprisingly deep, tight and well-timed low end for its compact enclosure (StereoNET: 'surprisingly good for such small drive units'; What Hi‑Fi: 'impressive bass weight'). TWS pairing further improves extension and punch. Overall excellent bass performance for the driver size and portable form factor.
Mid
91/100
Midrange is often described as warm, bold and well-defined with engaging vocal presence (eCoustics: 'Peck's vocals were bold, defined'; StereoNET: 'midrange is enjoyable while not edgy'). Reviewers note good timbral body and clarity at moderate listening levels.
Treble
88/100
Treble is clear and detailed without being overly brittle in normal use (What Hi‑Fi: 'Excellent clarity'; StereoNET: 'a little less brittle'), though several reviews warn of some hardness if driven very loud, limiting the top-end refinement at maximum output.
Soundstage Imaging
92/100
Multiple reviewers highlight an impressively spacious, wide and almost omnidirectional soundfield for a single-box portable (eCoustics/ecoustics: 'extremely spacious'; What Hi‑Fi: 'able to faithfully capture the sense of audience'). TWS stereo pairing expands imaging and separation further.
Dynamics
88/100
Dynamics and punch are strong for the size — bass lines are described as tight and well-timed and the speaker can fill a room without losing clarity (What Hi‑Fi: 'more than fills our hi-fi test room'). Headroom is good but reviewers advise avoiding the topmost volume to prevent hardness/distortion.

Build and finish receive high marks: heavy aluminium body, classy leather strap and robust feel (eCoustics: 'aluminum case is quite heavy'; What Hi‑Fi: '+Classy build and finish'). Reviewers call it solid, durable and premium in presentation.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive baseline applied per scoring rules (fixed baseline 80). Product actually offers active features (Bluetooth 5.0 aptX/aptX HD, AAC, 3.5mm input, TWS, two EQ presets and up to ~30h battery), but connectivity score is held to the passive-speaker baseline by the scoring agent.
Value for Money
92/100
Reviewers consistently call it outstanding value for its sound and finish (What Hi‑Fi: 'best sound-per-pound portable'; StereoNET: 'one of the best at or anywhere near its price'; eCoustics: 'in the running for my favorite product of 2022'). Price mentions range in reviews from ~$499 to ~$599/£329, with strong praise versus peers.
