Value for Money

Combining grand-scale imaging with transparent hybrid-tweeter clarity, the EPIKORE 7 makes orchestras and live recordings feel expansive, weighty and precisely organised. The Ear found its presentation bold, controlled and finely detailed from low to high volumes, while the luxurious curved cabinet and seamless driver integration reinforce its status as a refined floorstander for larger listening spaces.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Pros
Broad, deep soundstage with precisely positioned instruments and convincing panoramic scale.
Transparent, tonally satisfying treble and subtle detail that remains audible at both low and high volumes.
Exceptionally premium construction, with solid curved cabinets, high-gloss real-wood veneer and practical magnetised spikes.
&
Cons
Powerful bass can sound overly rich in some rooms, making generous distance from rear walls and careful placement important.
The revealing hybrid tweeter benefits from clean-sounding partnering equipment, as harsh or distorted electronics are readily exposed.
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 90/100
The EPIKORE 7 is described as bold, full-bodied and detailed, with an expansive presentation that suits orchestral works and live-event recordings especially well. Its major strengths are the precise, panoramic stereo picture, transparent hybrid treble and composed delivery from quiet listening through to high levels, although its low end may sound overly rich in some rooms.
Bass
87/100
The Ear found the bass powerful, confident and full-bodied, with useful low-frequency weight from the twin 7-inch drivers and tuned ports. However, the reviewer also felt it was somewhat too rich, while measurements indicated a substantial rise centred around 90Hz that could make room positioning important.
Mid
89/100
Mid-to-high fundamentals were said to integrate well with harmonics, helping percussion sound convincing and coherent. The presentation is not described as overtly crystalline or hyper-detailed through the midrange, but its understated detail and fulsome tonality were considered rewarding.
Treble
91/100
The hybrid tweeter earned praise for its transparency, satisfying clarity and natural tonality on strong recordings. Measurements showed a mild on-axis lift through the upper frequencies, but the review indicates that the balance becomes flatter at realistic listening distances.
Soundstage Imaging
93/100
The Ear reports an impressively large, voluminous soundstage with instruments precisely located across both width and depth. Stereo images were described as pinpoint clear, and live-event material conveyed a particularly convincing panoramic sense of scale.
Dynamics
92/100
Fine details and musical clues remained audible at low volume, rather than requiring loud playback to engage. At higher levels, the EPIKORE 7 was reported to retain excellent control, supporting its bold and assured presentation in larger spaces.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
93/100
The review describes beautifully made and finished components, with curved, internally braced and very solid real-wood-veneered cabinets under a high-gloss lacquer finish. Curved, flared ports and the thoughtfully implemented magnetised spike-and-pad system add practical polish to an evidently premium construction.
Value for Money
85/100
At $15,000, the EPIKORE 7 occupies a demanding premium-floorstander market. The available reviews praise its execution and performance but do not directly compare it with price rivals or offer a clear judgement on whether it is especially compelling against competing models.
