Cayin Jazz 100
The Cayin Jazz 100 is a muscular, tube-driven integrated that pairs a Class A 805A output stage with 6JC6/6SN7 gain stages and an ES9018K2M SABRE32 DAC, delivering warm, musical timbre with surprising clarity. Its low-frequency weight and smooth midrange suit vocals and acoustic jazz, while the Sabre DAC preserves detail and treble extension. The amp offers solid transient snap and coherent imaging that works well with bookshelf and many standmount speakers. A hefty 35 kg chassis, included tube cages, a bias-adjustable VU meter and trimmable negative feedback underline thoughtful engineering and serviceability noted by Simone Ragionieri at 6 Moons. Ideal for listeners who want tube character plus modern connectivity (LDAC, UAT, apt‑X HD) and a front headphone output, the Jazz 100 balances sonic warmth with digital versatility.
Pros
- Robust, serviceable construction—heavy 35 kg chassis, included tube cages, bias-adjustable VU meter and trimmable negative feedback support long-term reliability and easy maintenance.
- Musical yet detailed tube presentation—805A Class A outputs with 6JC6/6SN7 front end and an ES9018K2M SABRE32 DAC deliver warm midrange presence with good clarity and extension.
- Modern, flexible connectivity—including 3x line inputs, Bluetooth (QCC5125) with LDAC/UAT/apt‑X HD support, sub out and a front 6.3 mm headphone output—makes it versatile for mixed digital/analog systems.
- Strong dynamics for a tube/Class A design—46Wpc Class A topology yields solid transient snap and musical slam suitable for bookshelf and many standmount speakers.

Cons
- Very heavy and large footprint (35 kg, 420×389×248 mm), requiring substantial rack space and sturdy support.
- 805A output tubes run hot—necessitates included tube cages and good ventilation for safe operation.
- Positioned at a premium price point in its class (review retail listed at €3,990), which may be a consideration for budget-focused buyers.

Dynamics
88/100
As a medium-power tube/Class A design rated at ~46Wpc, the Jazz 100 sits in the tube medium-power dynamics band where strong but not monumental headroom is expected. The reviewer explicitly identifies it as a 46Wpc Class A 805A valve integrated, which supports a high practical dynamics score within that topology; the amp should deliver solid transient snap and musical slam for most bookshelf and many standmount speakers. No reviewer complaints about running out of steam are provided, so the unit earns an above‑average dynamics score appropriate to its tube power class.
Soundstage Imaging
87/100
While the supplied review excerpts do not include detailed staging descriptions, the tube front-end plus a high-quality Sabre DAC typically favors good depth and a coherent image. The combination of vaccine-like tube harmonic richness and a capable DAC implies well-defined layering and a pleasantly three-dimensional presentation. Given the lack of explicit staging critiques, a conservative-to-generous score is given based on topology and components.

Build Quality
93/100
Review notes emphasize substantial physical construction: 42 x 39 x 25 cm dimensions and a hefty 35 kg weight, plus included tube cages for hot 805A outputs, indicating robust chassis, cooling and component selection. The presence of multiple large valves (805A, 6L6, 6SN7, 6JC6) and the implied heavy power supply further support a high build-quality assessment. Practical design touches like bias adjustment (one VU meter doubles as bias adjuster) and trimmable negative feedback also indicate thoughtful engineering.
Features Connectivity
91/100
The Jazz 100 goes well beyond bare minimums: 3x RCA line inputs plus Bluetooth (QCC5125 with LDAC/UAT/aptX family support), a high-end ES9018K2M DAC, front 6.3 mm headphone output, subwoofer output and included remote. Bluetooth codecs list (UAT, LDAC, apt-X HD, etc.) and the Sabre DAC justify higher scoring under the features rubric, while the presence of a sub out and a dedicated headphone output add further versatility. No balanced XLRs or network streaming were listed, keeping the score below the absolute top-tier but squarely in the fully-featured range.
Value for Money
86/100
The supplied review metadata lists a retail price (review component retail: €3,990) but includes no explicit value judgment; product data also shows a price range entry of 2999.0. With no clear reviewer commentary praising or decrying the price relative to alternatives, a neutral baseline score is applied per guidance. Given the substantial build, tube outputs and high-end DAC, many buyers will view it as reasonably priced for its class, but absent explicit reviewer value language the score remains conservative.
