What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 95/100
The Grand Luna is described as a balanced but musical listen, combining authoritative low end, unusually rich midrange and smooth, extended highs. The reviewer also found it highly resolving and spatially convincing, with strong dynamics that preserve a natural, coherent presentation.
Bass
94/100
Bass is praised for reaching very low while staying clean, controlled and well defined. Kick drums reportedly have substantial authority, but the presentation avoids boominess or an overblown character.
Midrange
97/100
The midrange is a particular highlight, described as smooth, rich and natural with intimate but not overbearing vocal placement. The reviewer calls male vocals especially striking and places the mids among the best they have heard.
Treble
94/100
Treble balances sparkle, air and cymbal shimmer with a notably smooth character. It is said to be detailed and extended without sharpness, piercing edges or listening fatigue.
Resolution Separation
96/100
The reviewer calls resolution outstanding and finds imaging and separation excellent. Individual lines remain easy to follow in dense rock arrangements and electronic drops, suggesting convincing composure under complexity.
Soundstage Imaging
93/100
The stage is described as both wide and deep, with a credible rather than artificially enlarged sense of space. Live recordings reportedly gain a persuasive live-event atmosphere, while instruments retain distinct positions.
Dynamics Coherence
94/100
Macro-dynamic shifts such as crescendos and drops are said to carry satisfying weight, while smaller dynamic changes remain clear. The reviewer also hears the overall presentation as natural and coherent rather than disjointed.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 80/100
Its smaller, Andromeda-like shell is described as ergonomic and less fatiguing than Campfire's larger Solaris design. The review does not meaningfully address passive isolation, and it provides limited direct information on how consistently different listeners can achieve a seal.
Seal Stability
87/100
The smaller shell and ergonomic form suggest an easier fit than Campfire's larger Solaris-style housings. However, the reviewer does not directly discuss seal consistency during movement or whether fit changes bass response.
Comfort
92/100
The reviewer finds the compact shell more ergonomic and less fatiguing than the Solaris. This points to a design that should be more accommodating for extended listening, though experiences will still vary by ear shape.
Isolation
51/100
The review says little about real-world passive noise attenuation. There is no direct comparison with other sealed IEMs or discussion of use in noisy environments.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Accessories
91/100
The cherry-colored shells, contrasting metal faceplates and faceted finish are described as among Campfire's most attractive designs. The package is especially complete for daily ownership, including a Cirrus Logic CS43131-based dongle DAC intended to provide a ready-to-use listening chain; long-term durability is not discussed.
Value for Money
85/100
At $1,399, the reviewer acknowledges that the Grand Luna is far from inexpensive, while calling it a seriously confident product and strongly praising its unusually complete bundle. There is no direct comparison against similarly priced competing IEMs, so the available commentary does not establish a clear advantage over premium peers.
