Overall Score 89/100

Rating for [object Object]

Nicely Roasted

The Pearl Keshi pairs surprisingly powerful, punchy low end with an airy, precise soundstage — a rare feat from such a compact 2.1 system. Its coaxial satellites and DSP deliver deep, controlled bass, expansive imaging and effective room correction, giving desktop and small-room listeners a refined, high-resolution experience reviewers like Jerry Del Colliano and Jaap Veenstra praised.

Future Audiophile

"It builds pride of ownership from the first minute that you interact with the product."

Pros

  • Deep, controlled bass with tight sub-satellite integration that belies the system’s compact size.
  • Surprisingly wide, well-focused stereo image and strong soundstage for nearfield and small-room listening.
  • High-quality build, coaxial satellite drivers and powerful Class-D amplification combined with effective DSP/room correction.

&

Cons

  • Unreliable Bluetooth pairing and occasional wireless dropouts; AirPlay is more stable but not flawless.
  • No HDMI/eARC input, which limits seamless TV/console hookup for modern home-theatre use.
  • Practical annoyances: fixed-length satellite cabling, awkward subwoofer pairing button placement and some remote/volume latency.

Sound Quality

90/100

Bass

90/100

Reviewers repeatedly praise the low end and sub integration: Future Audiophile notes "the bass is deep enough" and Alpha Audio says "the subwoofer does keep up" and "blends surprisingly well with the satellites." Given the small satellites plus a 17 cm sub, the system delivers impressively deep, controlled bass for its size, especially with Cabasse room correction engaged.

Mid

89/100

Reports emphasize clear, natural midrange and good vocal handling: Alpha Audio: "handles vocals with ease" and reviewers call the sound "clean." The midband retains body and presence even without DSP touching mids, supporting detailed vocal and acoustic reproduction.

Treble

86/100

Treble is described as clean and refined without harshness: reviewers mention the system's "clean sound" and that room correction focuses on bass while highs remain intact. No persistent sibilance or brightness complaints were reported, indicating well-behaved high frequencies.

Soundstage Imaging

92/100

Multiple reviewers were surprised by the imaging and scale: Future Audiophile: "image pretty well" and Alpha Audio: "the stereo image is also much larger than we expected" and "the speakers both physically and sonically disappear in the room." The system creates an expansive, well-focused soundstage for desktop and small-room use.

Dynamics

91/100

Dynamics are frequently highlighted: Alpha Audio calls the Keshi "very dynamic" and mentions punchy bass and class-D amp performance that doesn’t sound like class-D. Tracks with strong transients and bass impact are handled with authority and control.

Build Quality

90/100

Build and finish receive high marks: Future Audiophile: "fit and finish ... simply gorgeous" and Alpha Audio notes the "remarkably heavy, round, metal enclosure" and coaxial satellite construction. Minor practical negatives include fixed satellite cabling and an awkward pairing button placement on the round sub.

Features Connectivity

92/100

Extensive modern connectivity and processing: Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, optical, micro‑USB, 3.5mm, app-based setup, automatic room calibration (DSE), and a 768 kHz/32‑bit DAC plus multiroom support. Reviewers cite excellent room correction and streamer/DAC performance, though Bluetooth pairing behavior and the lack of HDMI are noted as drawbacks.

Value for Money

80/100

Mixed value assessment at the listed price (~$2,595): Future Audiophile says "I don’t think anybody is going to buy... for the maximum bang for the buck" and that you can "spend less and get a similar sound," while acknowledging unique style, tech and finish. Good recommendation for buyers prioritizing design, compactness, and integrated DSP; less compelling strictly on price/performance grounds.
