Alsyvox Audio Design CARAVAGGIO
Our CARAVAGGIO model is very exclusive and is made on request only. It is a 4 ways design, 1 more compared to smaller models (ribbon- planar woofer, NEW ribbon midrange, ribbon tweeter and ribbon super-tweeter) on one panel per channel. Its width is 0.69m (27″) with a total height of 2.03m (80″), a weight of 150Kg (333lb) per channel excluding crossovers and a woofer surface of more than 1 sqm (11sqft) on the two channels. It comes with 2 acrylic external passive crossovers using exclusive topology, connecting cables between speaker and crossover are included. These standard crossovers have dimensions of 510x330x130mm weight 30Kg including acrylic transparent base and are using same quality components to X crossovers for Botticelli or Tintoretto, also XX quality is available on request with a size of 680x450x130mm weight 50Kg each. Difference is clearly audible with higher resolution and transparency, like upgrading the speakers by one or two levels.
Also a separate dedicated subwoofer panel (one each channel) is available and it is recommended only in very big rooms from 80sqm (800sqft).
High sensitivity of 94dB makes possible to use virtually any amplifier.
It is recommended for rooms of 40sqm (400sqft) to 120sqm (1200sqft).

- Exceptionally open, extended treble and ultra-fine resolution with thrilling transient speed
- Surprisingly authoritative low-end and dynamic punch for a ribbon design, delivering substantial bass weight and impact
&
Cons

Bass
96/100
Reviewers describe "fabulous bass weight" and "low-end dynamic authority," with declared 20 Hz extension in the spec and reports of "shocking bass weight" even with low-powered amplification. Treble/ribbon speed combined with apparent cabinet scale produces authoritative, well-controlled low end. Mapped to a large-tower woofer configuration (single large 320 mm driver) and placed in the 'excellent' band.
Mid
96/100
Multiple comments highlight lifelike timbre, richness, and physicality—voices and instruments have presence and concert-grand weight. Review language emphasizes authenticity and coherence through crossover regions, supporting a top-tier midrange performance.
Treble
97/100
Reviewer notes 'unlimited top-end extension,' outstanding resolution of low-level treble detail, and a fast, open, non-bright top end. The treble is repeatedly praised for air, speed, and transparency without edginess.
Soundstage Imaging
97/100
Described as 'spooky' image placement with sounds floating detached from the speakers and occupying the entire front half of the room. Imaging is extremely vivid, highly tangible, and unusually three-dimensional for a dynamic design.
Dynamics
96/100
Review cites exceptional transient speed, macro/micro dynamics, and the ability to play loudly with 'fabulous' impact; even low-power tube amps drove satisfying levels and slam. Dynamics are consistently noted as thrilling and authoritative.

Build Quality
94/100
Massive, heavy enclosures shipped in flight cases with large external crossovers indicate high-end engineering and materials. Assembly is delicate/time-consuming, which is a minor practical drawback but consistent with bespoke flagship construction.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive baseline applied. External, fully symmetrical crossover with SpeakOn outputs for each driver and multiple output-level jacks provides sophisticated connectivity and tonal adjustment options, but as a passive tower the baseline score is retained.
Value for Money
75/100
Performance is described as among the world's best, but price is extremely high ($200,070–$258,421 depending on crossover). Outstanding sonic achievement tempers value deductions, but the steep cost limits accessibility and overall value rating.
