Alsyvox Audio Design BOTTICELLI
The best is in the middle (“In medio stat virtus” the Romans used to say) so in normal size rooms, from 25sqm (250sqft) to 100sqm (1000sqft) we recommend our BOTTICELLI model.
The two panels size is quite classical: 0.64m (25″) wide and 1.77m (70″) height, with a total of 0.9sqm (10sqft) woofer surface on the two channels and weight of 115Kg (255lb) per channel.
High sensitivity of 94dB makes possible to use virtually any amplifier.
It is possible to upgrade to Botticelli X or XX buying the two external passive crossovers using an exclusive topology and bigger/higher quality components, connecting cables between speaker and crossover are included. X external crossovers are 430x330x130mm each weight 25Kg including the transparent acrylic base, XX external crossovers are 680x450x130mm each weight 45Kg including the transparent acrylic base. XX version is using even bigger and higher quality components and connecting cables compared to X version and the result is higher resolution and transparency, it is like upgradind the speakers by one or two levels.

Bass
95/100
Multiple reviewers praised unusually deep extension (spec'd to 22Hz) and 'remarkable bass extension' with powerful low-frequency response and transient attack. Enjoy The Music highlights 'combined ten square feet of woofer surface' and room-filling authority, indicating large-tower bass performance; no reviewer said it 'needs a sub.'
Mid
96/100
Reviewers repeatedly note exceptional coherence and timbral accuracy, describing a single "continuous voice," full-bodied tonal balance, and superb piano reproduction. Multiple comments about truthful depiction of timbre and micro-dynamic shading support a top-tier midrange performance.
Treble
94/100
Ribbon/planar upper end is described as highly extended (to 40kHz), revealing and vibrant without glare or fatigue. Reviews report rich tone color and textural completeness with very detailed, non-aggressive top end.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
Dipolar radiation and planar drivers deliver exquisite dimensionality, with reviewers citing exceptional layering, precise image placement, and a spacious, accurately sized soundstage. Imaging is described as highly focused and finely layered across multiple listening sessions.
Dynamics
95/100
Reviewers emphasize blistering transient attack, astonishing speed, and convincing micro- and macro-dynamics — percussion and explosive passages were noted as impactful yet well articulated. Instrumental decay and speed are repeatedly lauded.

Build Quality
94/100
Construction uses heavy-gauge steel frames, exotic woods and in-house fabricated ribbons; crossovers employ high-end Mundorf/Jantzen/Duelund parts. Reviews emphasize artisan-level fabrication and high-quality materials, supporting a premium build score.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive baseline applied. Reviews note very high sensitivity (94dB) and premium internal wiring/crossover parts, but no bi-wire/contour switches or DSP features that would alter the passive baseline score.
Value for Money
84/100
At $100,000/pair (noted in reviews) these are an extremely expensive proposition, yet reviewers call them 'state of the art' and 'my first choice in their price point' relative to peers like Børresen and Wilson. Exceptional performance supports generous but realistic value scoring given the high cost.
