uControl’s latest software release brings functionality once reserved for elite systems.

Packed with improvements across both uOS, uControl app and uControl Remote, Version 11.06 delivers faster setup, power button customisation, WPA3 security, stronger wireless performance, 2 days extra battery life, and greater flexibility and personalisation than ever - updates that rival the incumbents.

Standout Features in uOS 11.06:

Power Button Customisation: Full control over how the remote’s power button behaves, with three flexible modes: List, Custom, or TV. Control individual device power or trigger a sequence from a list, run a full-room on/off custom scene, or mimic the TV’s original remote - with support for both push and push+hold actions.

Extended Battery Life: Improved power efficiency when idle adding up to two extra days* of battery life for the uControl Remote between charges.
Traditional Universal Remote Operation: The uControl Remote's integrated IR emitter can now directly control multiple devices, offering the familiar functionality of an all-in-one remote.
Improved Device Database: Devices are now better organised, making it quicker and easier to search and find the one you need.
Command Generator: Makes it easier to integrate smart devices like lighting, blinds, and PDUs by generating the exact command you need for control without reading lengthy guides or documentation.
Airdrop: “Tap to Share” Save time by sharing user interface customisations with friends or family by using uControl’s built-in AirDrop feature.
Sonos in Sequences: You can now include Sonos actions, such as play or pause, as part of a custom sequence.

Profiles and Quick Connect: For multiple system owners, uControl app now offers a quick connect option to allow you to switch between systems effortlessly.
Streamlined Control Pack Downloads: A redesigned download page simplifies the installation of control packs/drivers.
Advanced IR Pack Editor: Now accessible via the Advanced Menu for deeper control customisation.
‘Stack, Repair & Replace’ Workflow: This new feature, accessible via Advanced Settings, enables quick replacement of controllers or MHUBs, backup restoration, and recovery of large AV systems without needing to rebuild or reprogramme.
Cleaner UI: Visual refinements improve readability and user flow.
Visible Function States: When building sequences, true/false status indicators are now visible at a glance.
Update Without Starting Over: Remote configurations can now be edited without the need to delete and rebuild from scratch.
Optional Icons: Icons are now optional when creating custom functions or sequences.
Pairing Confirmation: A simple "Save" confirmation improves confidence and reduces errors during pairing.
