Monitor Audio Expands Creator Series with High-Performance Large In-Wall Speakers and New Mount Boxes

Monitor Audio’s acclaimed architectural speaker series continues its innovative range expansion adding smart, solution-driven designs for every installation challenge.

Essex, UK – September 2025: Monitor Audio is proud to expand its acclaimed Creator Series with the introduction of three new In-Wall large speakers, alongside a versatile range of on-wall and on-ceiling Mount Boxes. Designed to enhance flexibility and performance, these additions continue Monitor Audio’s mission to provide integrators with high-quality solutions that are simple to specify and effortless to install.

Creator Series In-Wall ‘Large’ Speakers

The new large-format Creator Series In-Wall speakers extend the range for projects requiring greater output, scale, and presence. Designed for larger rooms, open-plan living spaces, and dedicated cinema and media environments, the models deliver:

·       High-impact performance – with extended bass and dynamic headroom, ideal for home cinema or media spaces.

·       Precision engineering – harnessing Monitor Audio’s acoustic expertise, across three performance levels to deliver accurate, room-filling sound with minimal distortion.

·       Discreet design – maintaining the Creator Series ethos of near-invisible integration without compromising on audio quality.

·       Seamless system matching – designed to complement the full Creator Series line-up for consistent sonic character across multi-room and cinema installs.

Each Creator Series In-Wall Large speaker incorporates core design innovations from the range, including the patent-pending Quik-Link, which transforms installation by enabling pre-cabling and termination before the speaker is fitted. They also feature Tri-Grip II dog-legs for a stronger, more secure fixing, alongside advanced metal-cone technologies refined over 40 years of development. For added flexibility, a dedicated back box is available for each model.

As with all Creator Series speakers, there are three performance tiers available:

·       W1L – A two-way arrangement featuring C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) mid-bass drivers and C-CAM tweeter featuring UD waveguide I for dispersion control and improved imaging.

·       W2L – A three-way arrangement featuring RST II (Rigid Surface Technology) mid-bass and bass drivers, C-CAM tweeter featuring UD Waveguide II for even greater dispersion control and improved imaging, and a rotational mid-pod for LCR placement. 

·       W3L – A three-way arrangement featuring RDT III bass drivers, C-CAM mid-driver, MPD II Transducer, and a rotational mid-pod for LCR placement. 

Creator Series in-wall large speakers extend the portfolio and performance envelope of Creator Series. With three highly distinctive models, covering Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 performance-levels at three attractive price points. The In-Wall Large models bring straightforward installation and meet Monitor Audio’s ‘Performance-first’ ethos – a distinctive characteristic of the entire Creator Series.

Creator Series Mount Boxes

The Mount Boxes provide integrators and DIY-installers the ability to position any Creator Series high-fidelity speaker, in almost any interior via surface-mounted on-wall or on-ceiling positioning, simply and easily. The four ‘on-ceiling’ back boxes satisfy all ‘in-ceiling’ Creator Series models, and the ‘on-wall’ Mount box supports the Creator Series Medium ‘In-Wall’ models. Though such is the versatility, the ‘On-ceiling’ back boxes may also be fitted to walls if so desired.
