How it works
Inspired by the ceramic coatings used to protect car paintwork, Ghost Coat is designed for phone and tablet screens. Its advanced ceramic formulation is wiped onto a clean screen, where it bonds to the glass at a molecular level and hardens into a clear ceramic layer.
As a result, there is no film to trim, no edge to lift and nothing to change how the screen looks or feels. It works on any phone or tablet, whatever its shape or size.

Each pack contains a cleaning sachet to prepare the glass, a sachet of ceramic coating and a reusable microfibre cloth to polish the screen. Simply wipe on the coating and the protective bonding process starts immediately. After five minutes, polish the screen with the supplied cloth and you’re ready to go!

Independent laboratory tests show what Ghost Coat adds:

• Scratch resistance: after abrasion with P80 sandpaper, TÜV SÜD counted 4 scratches on treated glass against 39 on untreated glass.
• Hardness: no marking from a 9H pencil in SGS testing to ISO 15184.
• Coating strength: in Rockwell diamond scratch tests by Teer Coatings (UK), coated Gorilla Glass withstood 13% more load before failing than uncoated glass, and 56% more than a competitor coating.
• Display clarity: TÜV SÜD measured no loss of light transmission across the visible spectrum.
• Water repellence: the water contact angle rose from 40° to 98°, so the screen sheds water more easily.

One application lasts 12 months, replacing around three traditional screen protectors.
