LOW-DISTORTION DRIVERS AND ULTRA-PRECISE DESIGN

The driver unit of the YH-E700B features a diaphragm of ideal rigidity and flexibility, thanks to a two-layer bonded film composed of various materials. Moreover, by precisely controlling the airflow conducted from the back of the driver unit, interference between low and high frequencies is suppressed for optimum sound reproduction. In addition, the baffles have been designed to eliminate any left/right difference, so that both sides of the stereo image are perfectly balanced, with sound localization fixed at the intended point—ensuring that the perceived position of each instrument and each sound, as well as the overall ambience of the music, can be flawlessly experienced.

LISTENING OPTIMIZER

The E700B is designed to ensure that any user can always enjoy the best sound experience, regardless of the wearing condition. For home theatre use, Yamaha has an advanced technology called YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer), which is installed in its AV receivers and other devices. This uses a microphone to quantify the acoustics of a room and calibrate the audio parameters accordingly to create an ideal listening environment, specifically for that room. The YH-E700B has a built-in Listening Optimizer feature that effectively applies this same technology. A built-in microphone constantly measures the in-ear sound and corrects for the unique shape of the listener’ s ear and the effects of wearing it in real time, ensuring that even the slightest changes in the sound are preserved, and the music is always impeccably reproduced in the balance envisioned by the artist.
