This was an interesting review to translate in some parts because of the nature of how a lot of the terms are expressed in the common lingo of the audiophile world. There are words that in this context are used in English anyway, but the rest of the sentence is in German. I've tried to capture the original intent. Here we go: In the first and second listening impression, I was a bit startled, because the sound of the X-A1000 was somewhat less "spacious", that is, less of a "Stereo stage" than my more expensive devices. Also, the lower bass wasn't as precise as expected. After about 10 hours of break-in, I listened again and was almost surprised: suddenly "it" was much more spaciously open, but still very precise. And the bass was also much tighter now, it wasn't wobbly or anything anymore, but really nice, precise, and dry. I can only say, absolutely recommended, and for the price, it's a "no brainer", really a top purchase. This is certainly due to the well-chosen "circuit concept", as the devices from Advance Acoustic are "double mono" constructed. If one has a good preamplifier, which is also certainly important for this power amplifier, then this unit is really top. I use this power amplifier (X-A1000) with a pre-amp from Audio GD which costs about 2000 euros. The result is just absolutely sensational for the price of around 1000 euros. Absolutely recommended.
