What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 85/100
The available listening comments are positive, describing the Integro as sounding great and capable of real punch when the music calls for it. The reviews provide little detail on resolution, tonal character, or stereo imaging, so its sonic strengths are more clearly established in overall enjoyment and drive than in fine-grained analysis.
Transparency Resolution
84/100
The available review calls the sound great, which supports a broadly positive impression of clarity. Neither review gives specific detail about low-level resolution, background quietness, treble refinement, or transparency.
Tonal Balance Musicality
86/100
Hans Beekhuyzen’s listening impression was simply that the Integro sounded great, indicating an enjoyable overall presentation. The reviews do not characterize its balance as warm, neutral, rich, or bright, so there is limited evidence about its precise tonal flavor.
Dynamics
89/100
Hans Beekhuyzen found the Integro punchy when required, a useful indication that it responds energetically to dynamic music. Its 50W-per-channel rating into 8 ohms suggests it is best partnered with reasonably sympathetic speakers rather than treated as a high-power solution for demanding loads or very large rooms.
Soundstage Imaging
80/100
The reviews do not discuss soundstage width, depth, image focus, or layering. There is therefore little listener evidence on how the Integro portrays spatial recordings.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
87/100
Alpha Audio found the compact chassis neatly finished on close inspection and considered it very tidy for the asking price. The review also praises the design, though it offers little long-term evidence on durability, internal construction, or thermal behavior.
Features Connectivity
95/100
This is an unusually complete all-in-one: network streaming, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth aptX, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Roon Bridge, USB storage, optical and coaxial digital inputs, analogue input, headphone output, and a subwoofer output are all included. Volumio’s software ecosystem is also a major practical advantage, with Alpha Audio noting that updates can be installed directly from the menu without specialist knowledge.
Value for Money
90/100
At approximately €1,199 including VAT, the Integro was positioned by Alpha Audio as a strong option for listeners seeking good sound without spending heavily. That review also described the finish as very neat for the price, while the integrated streaming platform and extensive connectivity strengthen its case against buying separate components.
