What Reviewers Are Saying
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Bass
95/100
Like Hifi found the Deep Waves 12 precise, punchy and full-bodied even at low levels, while retaining balance as volume rises. It filled a 40-square-metre room effortlessly and delivered rich, clean bass with “enormous bass extension” for demanding film material.
Integration
92/100
The review says the subwoofer blends beneath the main speakers “with great sensitivity,” indicating a convincing, unobtrusive handoff rather than an obviously separate bass source. Its controlled, tasteful balance is also described as holding together at higher levels.
Dynamics
93/100
Bass hits are described as precise and punchy, with substantial power available when required. The reviewer also reports that it remains balanced at high levels and handles explosion-heavy movie scenes with imposing impact rather than apparent strain.
Build Quality
50/100
The published specifications list a 22 mm MDF cabinet, a high-excursion driver and a substantial 25 kg enclosure. However, the review offers little direct comment on cabinet finish, long-term durability or overall construction quality.
Features Usability
91/100
Bluetooth pairing is described as straightforward, and the app allows volume, phase and crossover settings to be adjusted continuously. Like Hifi calls the iWoofer app a powerful tool for personalising the subwoofer quickly and easily, alongside useful high- and low-level connectivity.
Value for Money
85/100
The review identifies a €1,899 recommended price, placing the Deep Waves 12 in a premium subwoofer segment. It does not directly compare value with competing models at this price, although its performance assessment is strongly positive.
