Velodyne Deep Waves 10

The review describes low frequencies as deep and accurate, with the punch and impact associated with a ported design while retaining sealed-subwoofer-like depth. In film material, the sub delivered solid deep effects and palpable weapon impacts; the reviewer also highlights its depth, tightness, and impact for both music and movies.

The review says little about actual blending with main speakers, such as whether the sub disappears, avoids localization, or remains free of boom. It describes extensive adjustment options, including delay, filters, target curves, room-mode correction, and parametric EQ, but Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration.

The Deep Waves 10 is praised for delivering punch and impact, with effects in Prey conveying convincing solidity and intensity. The reviewer found that weapon strikes and other impacts added palpable force and immersion rather than sounding restrained.

The review details a high-excursion driver, dual-ferrite motor, large four-layer voice coil, and an MDF cabinet up to 22 mm thick for rigidity and stability. It provides useful construction detail, though it offers little direct comment on finish quality, amplifier durability, or long-term ownership.

Connectivity is comprehensive, with stereo/LFE RCA inputs and outputs plus speaker-level input for systems that need it. The iWoofer smartphone app adds unusually deep setup control, including delay, phase-related frequency adjustment, target curves, high- and low-pass filters, and up to 25 parametric-EQ points.

The review lists a price of 68,000 baht but does not directly assess value against competing subwoofers at that price. Its enthusiastic comments on bass performance and comprehensive control facilities are positive context, but there is no explicit comparison with peers or statement that it is especially good value.
