The Minisub Hybrid typically has been designed as an active subwoofer cable. It is extremely flexible and has an attractive cream-coloured jacket that blends easily in any interior, making it very suitable for longer-length subwoofer cable applications and all interconnections where there is a need for a very flexible, price-efficient cable.

The design combination of superior transmission quality, a very low conductor-conductor capacitance, and a very high screening factor together with high mechanical flexibility and long durability, though not easy to manage, successfully has been achieved.

The Minisub Hybrid features:

• The balanced construction is made with two centre conductors each having 12 x 0.15 mm. strands. (AWG 24 each, respectively in red and black foamed polypropylene insulation).
• The conductor material is ~AWG 24 large crystal OFC with a dense silver coating.
• Double shielded, one shield saturated with LSC, for optimal protection against unwanted noise and interference from the outside world’s radio frequency and other electromagnetic disturbances.
• The external 5.0 mm. diameter jacket is made of Hulliflex ®, a material with superior properties compared to e.g. PVC; Hulliflex ® gives The Minisub Hybrid a very long life span without any ageing effects.
• Capacitance core-core: 44 pF/m, and the resistance of the cores: 8.5 Ohm/100 m and for the screen: 1.7 Ohm/100 m.
• The jacket is cream-coloured.
• Available as a single subwoofer cable packed with RCA/XLR connectors in 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 7.5 and 10.0 m. lengths.
