Thrax SIRENS
Thrax SIRENS turn compact stand-mount scale into a room-filling, low-distortion performance, pairing dense imaging with rich, controlled tone and startling dynamic ease. Alan Sircom of hi-fi+ found their compression-tweeter/Purifi-driver blend poised, clear and unstrained from hushed late-night listening to orchestral peaks. Luxurious aluminium, leather and birch-ply construction completes a seriously full-scale two-way.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 93/100
The Sirens are described as exceptionally poised, balanced and free from obvious coloration, combining unusually full-scale output with a rich, immersive presentation. Their ability to remain clear, composed and engaging from very quiet listening through to extreme levels is a recurring strength.
Bass
91/100
Bass depth is said to be unexpected from such a compact enclosure, while Trentemøller's music retained its drive and energy. The review also credits the speaker's low distortion and quiet cabinet for avoiding artificial bass thickening, suggesting clean rather than exaggerated low-frequency weight.
Mid
94/100
The compression driver is praised for reaching effortlessly into the midrange, helping produce an unusually coherent and clear presentation. Vocals and instruments are presented with richness and sensuality, but without the upper-midrange bloom, cloudiness or stodginess that can affect smaller speakers.
Treble
89/100
The review characterises the Sirens as benign, clear and notably free from coloration, qualities that support a refined upper-frequency balance. There is little direct discussion of treble extension, air or tonal character, but no glare or hardness is reported.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
The Sirens create a rich, dense and enveloping soundstage that makes their compact physical scale seem irrelevant. Imaging is described as outstanding, while their ability to fill a room is said to challenge similarly sized stand-mounts and even many floorstanders.
Dynamics
96/100
With a substantial amplifier, the Sirens are reported to sound far more dynamic than expected from their size. They handle delicate woodwinds and explosive orchestral swells with equal assurance, and remain unstrained from whisper-level playback to ear-splitting levels.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
95/100
Construction is unusually substantial, with thick aluminium baffles, a cross-braced birch-ply cabinet and leather wrap. The review also highlights a carefully made crossover using very high-grade parts, while the bolted-together assembly and Aeco terminals reinforce the impression of serious engineering.
Value for Money
91/100
At £10,500 per pair, the Sirens sit firmly in the luxury stand-mount market, but the review considers their performance unusually competitive against rivals. They are said to make many alternatives sound smaller and more coloured, with a meaningful step up requiring both a larger loudspeaker and a larger budget.

Our latest masterpiece—compact, powerful, and uncompromising.
The Vision: Lyra’s Brilliance, Reimagined
The mission was clear: shrink the Lyra to bookshelf size without sacrificing performance. While we traded 3dB of sensitivity, the Sirens deliver unparalleled gains in clarity and precision, thanks to Purifi’s revolutionary drivers and our innovative serial crossover design.
Phase Response Linearization: Experience familiar voices with a newfound tonal richness.
Breakup-Free Cone Design: Enables a gentler crossover slope and seamless integration with our horn.
Zero-Resonance Front Baffle: Ensures the drivers’ performance shines without interference.
Compact Size, Uncompromised Performance:
Don’t let their size fool you—the Sirens match the Lyra’s low-frequency extension, courtesy of a rear-mounted port. Their compact cabinets are as versatile as they are powerful, fitting seamlessly into any space.
Premium Craftsmanship, Unmatched Detail:
Every component reflects our commitment to excellence
Foil Capacitors & Air Core Inductors: Potted in polyurethane for vibration-free operation.
Custom OCC Copper Wiring: Preserves low-level detail and resolution for an immersive listening experience.
Amplifier Versatility
The Sirens thrive with amplifiers of all kinds. Whether powered by a high-reserve powerhouse or a delicate single-ended design, their flat impedance and phase response make them an effortless load, ensuring dynamic performance at any volume.
