Strauss & Wagner EM205 Wired Earbuds with 3.5mm Connection And Mic+Remote
Deep, well-defined bass gives the EM205 a cinematic foundation, while its smooth treble, punchy mids, and unusually spacious soundstage keep mixes clear and immersive. MajorHifi found its balance holds as arrangements grow, with a comfortable, secure flat-backed fit that makes this affordable wired earbud especially compelling for relaxed, bass-forward listening.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 88/100
The EM205 is described as a bass-forward but controlled earphone with a smooth, non-fatiguing upper range and an unusually spacious presentation for its price. Its strongest reported traits are deep, defined low end, organized presentation as arrangements build, and an enveloping stage.
Bass
91/100
MajorHifi calls the low end intense, deep, and noticeably bass-heavy, with sub-bass that is not overlooked. Despite the emphasis, the bass is described as smoothly leveled, prominent rather than overwhelming, and well defined.
Midrange
87/100
The midrange is characterized as easy on the ears while retaining punch. Subdued upper mids are said to remove resonance and harshness, favoring a smoother vocal and instrument presentation over aggressive presence.
Treble
89/100
The high end is described as smooth, organic, controlled, and clear. Rather than relying on exaggerated emphasis, it reportedly delivers articulate definition without obvious harshness.
Resolution Separation
84/100
The review notes pointed definition and a presentation that remains organized as music expands. It does not offer much direct detail about microdetail retrieval, fine layering, or performance in especially dense mixes.
Soundstage Imaging
91/100
MajorHifi finds an impressive sense of space for the price, including the full width of recordings and convincing engulfment. Expansive compositions reportedly remain composed, with an upfront and realistic presentation of the mix.
Dynamics Coherence
88/100
The EM205 is said to retain balance and organization as songs grow in scale. Its fast attack and cinematic atmosphere are also credited with strengthening immersion.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 85/100
The supplied tips and conventional fit are reported to hold securely and feel comfortable, while the flat-backed housings suit relaxed listening or lying down. The review does not directly assess passive noise reduction.
Seal Stability
89/100
MajorHifi reports that the three included tip sets provide a standard fit that stays firmly in the ear. The reviewer specifically says they do not fall out during use.
Comfort
88/100
The earbuds are described as plenty comfortable. Their flat backs are highlighted as particularly convenient for lying down or falling asleep without the housings protruding uncomfortably.
Isolation
75/100
The review does not provide a direct assessment of outside-noise attenuation. There is no reported concern about isolation, but there is also no comparison with other in-ear designs in noisy environments.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Accessories
82/100
The package includes three sets of ear tips and a fabric carrying pouch that offers basic protection in a bag or pocket. The review says little about shell durability, connector execution, cable noise, or long-term reliability.
Value for Money
95/100
At about $39.95, MajorHifi calls the sound shockingly good for the money and suggests performance comparable with products in the $100 to $150 range. The reviewer explicitly presents the EM205 as a way to save money without giving up strong sound quality.
