Steinway & Sons bass performance from a shallow design
The BWS-210 is a high-performance in-wall woofer for custom-installed Steinway Lyngdorf systems that require the most shallow in-wall solution, perfectly fitting 6 inch/15 cm cavity walls. For the best bass performance and high dynamic headroom it is equipped with two high-excursion woofers to deliver a precise, punchy, and powerful bass. With the Steinway Lyngdorf Integrated System Approach and powered by the A1 or A2 digital amplifiers, the BWS-210 perfectly complements any Steinway & Sons in-wall, on-wall, or floorstanding loudspeaker. It is designed to be installed in-wall and comes with a paintable, magnetically held grill to cover the woofer front.
Two powerful high-excursion 10-inch woofers
The BWS-210 utilizes a patented high-excursion shallow woofer design, customized for Steinway Lyngdorf and based on an innovative voice-coil/cone geometry and suspension which allows the highest excursion from the most space-saving construction. A four-layer voice coil, an ultra-rigid dual aluminum cone, a very powerful neodymium magnet, and an extremely rigid cast aluminum basket provide impressive bass performance, matching the renowned sound quality of Steinway & Sons speakers.

The very rigid and sealed enclosure is made from high-quality MDF with internal bracing to avoid unwanted resonance and vibration.
Integrated system approach
All Steinway & Sons products can be combined for individual Steinway & Sons sound systems and follow our integrated system approach. The chosen loudspeakers are programmed into the processor, and amplifiers are connected reliably using our own digital signal connection. RoomPerfect™ will further acoustically calibrate the loudspeakers to the room. With this integrated system approach, we can guarantee the legacy of absolute perfection that comes with the Steinway & Sons partnership. A perfection which can never be attained mixing products “off the shelf” from different manufacturers.
