Several reviewers praise deep extension, useful kick-drum weight and controlled impact without muddiness. There is a mild bass lift, and The Headphone Show finds the mid- and upper-bass somewhat bulbous, which can intrude on the rest of the response.

Vocals are often a strength: ecoustics hears natural higher voices and convincing male-vocal timbre, while Sound Advice calls the midrange eloquent and insightful. The Headphone Show, however, reports low-frequency masking and uneven midrange balance, so clarity is not equally assured across all material.

The better reports find clear percussion, naturally lifted cymbals and enough energy to avoid glare. Others hear limited top-end air, a muffled region through the presence range and a lower-treble peak that can make some material harsh or fatiguing.

Sound Advice hears plenty of information about texture and timbre, with a natural overall presentation. What Hi-Fi finds detail merely adequate beside rivals, while The Headphone Show reports that tonal masking can blunt fine information and reduce clarity.

Stereo imaging is described as well organised, with good placement and room for dense arrangements, although the stage is wider than it is deep. What Hi-Fi hears congestion and limited spaciousness in standard stereo, while spatial processing opens the presentation appreciably for movies and compatible content.

Controlled bass gives rhythms a confident, steady foundation, and crescendos retain satisfying low-frequency weight. Still, Sound Advice wants more large-scale punch, while What Hi-Fi finds the Ace less expressive and less able to follow musical momentum than competing models.

Comfort receives consistently strong praise. Reviewers describe moderate, well-judged clamp, low perceived weight and soft padding that make the Ace easy to wear for extended listening, including for glasses wearers.

The Ace combines a steel headband with polymer construction and a cushioned vegan-leather contact surface. Reviewers find it sturdy and nicely made while retaining a lightweight feel, though there is little long-term durability reporting.

The Ace is unusually well equipped, with multipoint Bluetooth, aptX Lossless support, wired USB-C lossless playback, ANC and ambient listening, app EQ, a travel case and rapid charging. TV Audio Swap and Dolby head tracking are particularly appealing for Sonos soundbar owners, although head tracking is not always seamless and its ecosystem-specific benefits are not universal.

At $299-$399 in the US and £449 in the UK, the Ace sits in a demanding premium-wireless field. Its feature set, comfort and Sonos soundbar integration are compelling, but Sound Advice notes that its price brings significant expectations, while What Hi-Fi argues that several close rivals offer more detail, dynamics and excitement.
