What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 90/100
Reviewers describe the Munich M1 as making playback sound cleaner, clearer, and more stable, with a dropped noise floor and a sense of better dynamics. The unit is also praised for natural vocal tone and an open, well-positioned presentation, with comments about rich, deep voices and a pristine overall character.
Overall Sound
91/100
The review repeatedly points to cleaner and clearer sound, better dynamics, and a more pristine presentation. Vocals are singled out for being rich, deep, and gorgeous, which suggests a pleasingly natural and engaging contribution from the transport into the DAC chain.
Digital Signal Integrity
89/100
The reviewer says the M1 felt more stable, with no dropouts, lags, or glitches, and that the noise floor definitely dropped. That kind of language supports solid digital delivery and cleaner data handling, even if the review stops short of deeper technical measurements.
FEATURES USABILITY PERFORMANCE 89/100
Review coverage is positive about everyday use, especially the user-friendly VitOS app and the easy integration with Roon and online streaming services. The connectivity discussion is practical rather than exhaustive, focusing on network use and NAS access rather than a long list of ports or advanced options.
Streaming Software
90/100
The VitOS app is described as user-friendly, and the streamer is presented as Roon Ready with support for online streaming services. That points to a setup and daily-use experience that reviewers found straightforward and broadly accommodating.
Features Connectivity
87/100
Reviewers explicitly mention Roon readiness and a 1000Mbps Ethernet port for NAS use, which covers the key network features they discuss. The review excerpts do not dwell on the rest of the connection panel, so the assessment is based on the connectivity actually described.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
87/100
The review describes the Munich M1 as small but nicely finished, with a black brushed-metal faceplate that gives it an upscale look and feel. There is little discussion of long-term durability or internal construction, so the praise is mostly about fit, finish, and perceived solidity rather than detailed engineering commentary.
Value for Money
85/100
The review gives a mildly favorable value impression, saying the product is not so expensive that it belongs on a 'snake oil' list. Beyond that, the reviews do not compare it directly with peers or spell out whether it is a standout bargain, so the value case remains positive but limited in detail.
