The LFE option for the Sub A225-M allows seamless integration of a dedicated Low Frequency Effects channel into your monitoring setup, ensuring accurate reproduction and reliable translation of bass-critical material.

Designed for professional surround environments, the LFE option provides transparent signal handling and precise level management, giving you full confidence when monitoring cinematic, broadcast, or immersive audio productions.

Please note: The LFE option is available as an optional upgrade for the Sub A225-M and is not included as standard.

A SUBWOOFER FOR THE WHOLE RANGE

The Sub A225-M is the perfect addition to any PSI Audio speaker setup. No matter if you are working with our compact A17-M or the large A25-M, the A225-M will seamlessly integrate with all our monitors. Simply engage the bass roll-off on the satellites and enjoy a full-range system that extends down to 24 Hz with all the linearity in frequency and phase that you are used to from our monitor speakers.

For studio monitors, flatness is fundamental: you don’t want “smiley-face” tuning (e.g. boosted bass and treble) that might sound pleasant but misrepresents the mix. Flat response helps you judge balance, EQ, and spatial placement properly.

Every PSI Audio monitor is individually measured and calibrated in our full-size anechoic chamber.

We fine-tune each unit by hand until it reaches the exact linear frequency response defined in our reference curves.

Your monitor ships with its personal measurement sheet — a unique fingerprint of its precision and a guarantee of uncompromising Swiss-made accuracy.

SUB A225-M – WHO IS IT FOR?

Designed to complement our large three-way systems, the A225-M packs a lot of power to support full-range listening without compromise. It can also extend a smaller system, of course, or even mixed setups like in surround applications as the LFE. The A225-M is at home wherever low frequencies need to be monitored reliably, like in mixing, mastering and post-production.

Manufacturing by hand allows to match and adjust components so that tolerances cancel each other out instead of building up, as is often the case in industrial production.
