What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 84/100
The available review gives the Stereo Box E an encouraging overall verdict, calling its sound high quality in the context of a compact, budget-friendly all-in-one amplifier. It does not, however, provide detailed listening observations about resolution, tonal balance, dynamic authority, or stereo imaging.
Transparency Resolution
85/100
Stereo Index describes the amplifier's overall sound as high quality. The review does not provide specific comments on fine-detail retrieval, background quietness, openness, or resolving ability.
Tonal Balance Musicality
86/100
The review's positive overall sound assessment suggests an enjoyable and competent presentation for the price-conscious listener. It does not characterise the Stereo Box E as warm, neutral, rich, bright, or otherwise define its tonal balance in detail.
Dynamics
82/100
The Stereo Box E is presented as a capable compact amplifier, but the review does not specifically discuss punch, bass grip, transient speed, or its ability to drive demanding speakers at higher levels. Its modest 21W-per-channel output makes speaker matching especially relevant.
Soundstage Imaging
82/100
Stereo Index offers a generally favourable view of sound quality but says little about image focus, stage width, depth, or layering. There is no detailed evidence of an especially expansive or holographic presentation.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
75/100
The review identifies the Stereo Box E as a compact all-in-one amplifier, but provides no meaningful commentary on chassis construction, internal component quality, thermal behaviour, or long-term durability. The available coverage is therefore too limited to make a stronger claim about workmanship.
Features Connectivity
85/100
Despite its compact format, the Stereo Box E includes an MM phono input, RCA and 3.5mm analogue inputs, a subwoofer output, and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and aptX HD support. This is a useful, straightforward feature set for a small system, though it omits digital wired inputs, USB audio, network streaming, and balanced connections.
Value for Money
93/100
Stereo Index explicitly calls the Stereo Box E budget-friendly and says it offers excellent value, pairing that judgement with praise for its high-quality sound and all-in-one versatility. Its phono stage, subwoofer connection, and higher-quality Bluetooth support strengthen its appeal against similarly affordable compact amplifiers.

You can also connect digital sources like your TV or a CD transport via the coax or optical S/PDIF inputs and use the excellent Stereo Box E highresolution DAC. If you want to stream your music from your mobile phone, tablet or pc you can simply connect to the high definition AptX HD capable Bluetooth 5.0 input.
