ACTIVE 3-WAY.

A Hypex FusionAmp module powers three acoustic elements including a 10” subwoofer, four 4” midrange drivers, and the high frequency unit. Digital Signal Processing informs this type of loudspeaker architecture, by offering the control to re-align this 3-way geometry.

CONSTANT DIRECTIVITY.

Like all Pitt & Giblin products, the high frequency driver is loaded into a highly optimised waveguide. The geometry controls the consistency of tonal balance at the listening position, and also within the room. A powerful titanium compression driver plays from below 20kHz and beyond.

FOUR CAST ELEMENTS.

Cast in Hobart, four aluminium elements make up each Cast loudspeaker. The castings reveal a soft texture, while internal bracing and damping materials facilitate this material choice. All external surfaces are honed, hot waxed, and free of any fixings for a unique and uninterrupted sheen.

Singles or multiples

Sold individually, each Cast can be linked up with other modules to create a stereo or multi-channel listening experience. The amplifier module features a range of analogue and digital inputs, perfectly suited to a streamer, turntable, or other audio source.

circular waveguide

What appears to be simple geometry is in fact a complex curve on a circular pattern. This casting provides the cubic framework for the rest of the form, and also the acoustic design. It’s adequate size allows for a very broad response, furthering the sensory phenomenon that appears to be point source sound.
