Piega usa Coax Gen2 611 Speakers [Pair]

The two 6.29-inch woofers and three passive radiators are credited with going substantially deeper than the reviewer's planar reference while retaining nearly planar-like speed. Bass instruments and drums gained foundational weight, definition, snap, and percussive impact.

Vocals are presented with warmth, body, and finely resolved articulation, from whispers and purrs to brighter, more forceful phrases. The reviewer found the handoff into the mid- and lower-bass notably seamless, helping instruments and voices sound natural and physically present.

The coaxial ribbon is described as pristine, open, highly detailed, and precisely focused. Despite that resolving character, the presentation avoids the clinical quality the reviewer expected, with warmth through the rest of the range keeping the balance inviting.

The 611 produced beautiful lateral spread and convincing depth, with sharply focused individual players. Air around images and the lingering decay of hall ambience were especially persuasive.

The speaker reportedly tracks delicate bowing and strumming effects as convincingly as sudden percussive accents. It is also said to play louder with less effort, offering broad dynamic range and strong contrast between recordings.

The review calls the 611 a beautiful piece of industrial design and an exceptional high-end design. It also reports that the speaker is comparatively easy to place and optimize in a room, though there is little direct discussion of cabinet construction or long-term durability.

At roughly $20,000 per pair in the review, the 611 is presented as a genuine high-end contender rather than a compromised luxury option. The reviewer characterizes that price as relatively moderate among world-class speakers and considers the design and pedigree persuasive at this level.
