PBN Audio STUDIO REFERENCE 10
The Studio Reference 10, featuring 10” hybrid woofers with distinctive AQP coated cones, completes the two-model series. This speaker, with the larger SR14, is the culmination of decades of immersion in the art and engineering of superb soundscapes. It will fill your listening environment with richly detailed and nuanced sound, with power, clarity and dimension. A true next-generation speaker, melding the enduring perfectionism of the golden age of audio with the most advanced technology, the SR10 is available now.
The vintage woofers, designed in California in the 1970s, are known for their uncanny ability to capture the “soul’ of music. The originals are carefully disassembled and the baskets are sandblasted and powdercoated. Magnet systems are cleaned. New AQP-coated cones from Japan are then perfectly fitted, along with new voice coils, spiders and surrounds, to make a superlative low frequency driver.
A 2.5” textile done midrange driver features dynamic stabilization and a superb 95dB sensitivity, and the 4-ring dome tweeter delivers low resonance frequency with heightened sensitivity.
