Oriolus Isabellae
The Oriolus Isabellae delivers smooth sub-bass rumble, warmly full vocals and an airy, well-extended top end in a distinctly relaxed single-dynamic presentation. Giz Audio praised its satisfying low end, natural vocal presence and elegant musical flow, while the distinctive shell and supple cable complete an IEM made for listeners who prize rich tonality over clinical analysis.

Pros
Smooth, textured sub-bass delivers satisfying rumble without excessive mid-bass boom when properly sealed.
Warm, full male vocals and natural, energetic upper mids create an engaging vocal presentation.
Treble has good extension and air without being broadly harsh, supporting a reasonably spacious presentation.
Elegant, distinctive shells and a soft, tangle-resistant stock cable earn strong build and accessory praise.
Cons
Large, short nozzles and shell shape can make a complete seal difficult; poor fit significantly reduces sub-bass extension.
Separation, imaging and microdetail trail key rivals at the price, with elements sometimes sounding close or bunched together.
The slower decay and warmer blend favor relaxed musicality over fast, sharply articulated dynamics.
Especially treble-sensitive listeners may notice a slightly metallic or tinny vocal edge.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 84/100
The Isabellae is praised for a smooth, satisfying low end, warmly full vocals and an enjoyable overall tuning. Its main technical limitations are modest microdetail and congested separation, which also constrain imaging; it favors relaxed musicality over incisive speed and precision.
Bass
89/100
Giz Audio finds the bass exceptionally smooth and satisfyingly rumbly when the earphones are properly sealed. Sub-bass reaches low, mid-bass avoids excessive boom, and texture is described as decent, though some warmth carries into the lower mids.
Midrange
85/100
Male vocals benefit from a notably full, warm presentation, while the upper mids remain natural and enjoyable despite a little aggression. The reviewer does note that bass and male vocals can sit too close together, reducing lower-midrange separation.
Treble
86/100
Treble extension is considered good, with enough air to contribute to the presentation's spacious character. A lift around 7-8 kHz is audible and can add a slightly metallic or tinny edge to vocals for especially treble-sensitive listeners, but it was not found harsh.
Resolution Separation
78/100
Midrange clarity is good and the presentation is not described as veiled, but the reviewer expected more microdetail at this price. Instruments can feel close and bunched together, with limited separation holding back perceived resolution.
Soundstage Imaging
82/100
The stage is described as reasonably wide and extending somewhat beyond the head rather than sounding narrow. Imaging is only decent, however, because the compressed separation makes positional definition less convincing.
Dynamics Coherence
82/100
The Isabellae has a slower, longer-decaying character that the reviewer associates with a relaxed, musical presentation. This suits listeners who prefer smoothness and ease, though it gives less of a quick, sharply articulated sense of drive.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 78/100
A secure seal is particularly important here: an incomplete fit substantially reduces sub-bass and extension. The reviewer attributes the difficulty to the large, short nozzle and shell shape; there is little direct commentary on long-session comfort or passive isolation.
Seal Stability
74/100
Giz Audio reports that achieving a complete seal can be difficult because of the nozzle's size and short length, along with the shell shape. This is sonically significant, as an imperfect fit removes much of the sub-bass and low-end extension.
Comfort
80/100
The review identifies fit challenges but does not directly describe pressure points, fatigue, or extended-wear comfort. Individual ear shape and tip choice are therefore likely to be important for prospective owners.
Isolation
80/100
The review does not provide direct observations about passive noise attenuation. A proper seal should be prioritized, both for consistent bass response and for everyday isolation.

Build Accessories
88/100
The distinctive, elegant shell design receives strong praise for its originality and appearance. The supplied silver-plated OFC cable is described as soft, premium-feeling, and resistant to tangling or kinking, while the package includes silicone and foam tips, a cord clip, and cleaning tool; long-term durability is not discussed.
Value for Money
80/100
At roughly $600-$659, Giz Audio considers the Isabellae somewhat expensive given its limited detail retrieval and separation. Its appealing tuning and vocal performance make it attractive for the right listener, but the reviewer sees more technical performance as reasonable to expect at this price.

Manufacturer's Description — Oriolus
Back to the Origins
The Isabellae developed in year 2021 features a single high efficiency Dynamic Driver created as a collaboration item between Oriolus and Jaben China. The project has been started since the early days of the brand's founding, and it took about seven years until the design gets mature to be released, after countless of trial and error and material testing.
Unlike multi-driver or hybrid structures, Isabellae is equipped with a special "inertial" dynamic unit, combining Japanese Daikoku CCAW voice coils and a metallic enclosure that aims with special magnetic installations, in order to achieve higher sensitivity such that it can easily be driven to sound highly dynamic by any source.
With the special tuning methodogy, Isabellae delivers natural, extended highs and lows, also extremely smooth articulation. You can enjoy unprecedented sound quality on a variety of music genres, and on a wide range of audio gears.
