At the heart of Icon 12 is the Quad Vertex Sound Field constant-directivity horn. This geometry provides controlled dispersion that integrates cleanly into real rooms, yielding an airy, flowing presentation that remains powerful and authoritative.
A 12" ultra-linear, long-stroke extended-range woofer anchors the system with deep reach and headroom, maintaining control and composure as levels rise. Making a high-capacity woofer is one thing, making it also work flawlessly into the midrange is a completely different matter. Icon 12’s asymmetrical cabinet eliminates parallel walls to reduce resonances and internal reflections. With nominal 8 Ω impedance and generous sensitivity, Icon 12 pairs beautifully with low-power tube amplifiers and also thrives with conventional Class A/AB and modern Class D designs.
