Monitor Audio Vestra W10

Reviewers praise a full, controlled low end that adds weight and subsonic presence without bloat, boom, or an unnatural shift in the mix. Audiograde found the bass rounded, textured, and satisfying, while Sound Advice heard near-W15-like depth along with convincing orchestral scale and visceral movie impact.

The W10 is repeatedly described as composed and unobtrusive rather than attention-seeking, enhancing music instead of overwhelming it. Audiograde calls it an ideal partner for similarly sized standmounts, and found its contribution added weight while preserving the focus of the track.

Sound Advice highlights fine timing, occasionally exquisite punch, and the ability to move from delicate articulation to forceful cinematic impact. It filled a small room easily and brought enough intensity to larger spaces, although the reviewer notes it will not physically shake listeners from their seats like a bigger model.

The cabinet is fully braced MDF, with a thicker front baffle, a solid-feeling 13.4kg enclosure, and a securely fitted reinforced grille. Reviewers describe the vinyl finish as nicely executed and the overall construction as good for the class, rather than unusually luxurious.

The W10 provides practical stereo and LFE inputs, a 12V trigger, adjustable crossover and level controls, phase switching, auto power, and three DSP presets. The useful Music, Movie, and Impact modes are well judged, but setup remains deliberately basic, with no app, remote control, or deeper adjustment tools.

At £600, Audiograde calls the W10 a great-value subwoofer and concludes that it is "superb value." Sound Advice likewise describes it as a great-value package, while ecoustics positions the Vestra range as a serious bass upgrade that avoids four-figure pricing and more expensive advanced-DSP alternatives.
