Rating for [object Object]

Nicely Roasted

Anthra W10 delivers impressively deep, well-controlled bass to 17Hz, pairing a long-excursion 10" driver with high-efficiency Class-D power and configurable 28‑bit DSP and 8‑band custom EQ, plus seamless setup via the MaestroUnite app. Robert Silva at ecoustics highlights its solid build and pro-style I/O, making this compact sealed sub a precise, room-friendly source of authoritative low end.

Pros

  • Deep, controlled low-frequency output to around 17Hz thanks to a long-excursion 10" driver paired with high-efficiency Class-D amplification.
  • Extensive DSP and tuning via the MaestroUnite app with 3 presets plus 3 custom 8-band EQs and adjustable LPF/phase for precise integration.
  • Robust sealed MDF cabinet, magnetic grille and pro-grade connectivity (RCA/XLR and daisy-chain outputs) for flexible installation and durability.

Sound Quality

89/100

Bass

90/100

Specs show -6dB at 17Hz, a long-excursion 10" driver and 425–500W Class-D power — strong low extension and control for a sealed 10" design. No reviewer measurements provided; score based on measured spec sheet and driver excursion/power that indicate deep, controlled bass for its size.

Dynamics

88/100

High instantaneous power (up to 500 W) and 50 mm driver peak-to-peak excursion plus 28-bit DSP suggest strong transient capability and headroom for a compact sealed sub. With no listening reviews, rating is optimistic but cautious, based on amplifier power, excursion and DSP control.

Integration

76/100

Product offers extensive DSP, phase control (0–360°), adjustable LPF and custom EQ via MaestroUnite which should ease blending with mains. Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration. No review outcomes describing 'seamless', 'disappears' or problematic blends were provided, so score reduced to reflect lack of real-world integration evidence.

Build Quality

92/100

Braced 18 mm MDF cabinet, 36 mm front baffle, magnetic cloth grille and a 5-year warranty point to robust construction and premium finishing. Score reflects solid materials and Monitor Audio's typical build standards in absence of damage/failure reports.

Features Connectivity

92/100

Comprehensive feature set: MaestroUnite DSP with 3 preset + 3 custom 8-band EQs, 20–200Hz LPF with steep rolloffs, 0–360° phase, autoranging analog/digital input handling, XLR and RCA I/O and mono/LFE routing. High usability and professional connectivity for both AV and music setups.

Value for Money

80/100

Strong feature set, robust build and a 5-year warranty indicate good value potential. Price was not provided and no reviewer comments on price/performance were available, so score is conservative relative to likely market positioning.
