SoundStage Solo likewise reported tall, wide staging with precisely located performers and increased image size when using balanced phono connection.

At roughly £7,500 to $9,850 depending on market, the Lupe is clearly a serious purchase, but reviewers repeatedly argue that its performance and flexibility justify the outlay. hi-fi+ calls it a sonic over-achiever for its RRP, HiFi News says few MM/MC stages offer this level of performance and flexibility at any price, and SonicFlare found it close to a significantly more expensive Einstein reference. The Ear similarly judged it neither entry-level nor overly expensive within the wider high-end market.
