The Magnat Cinema Ultra RD 200-THX is a THX®-Ultra2-certified dipole loudspeaker designed for authentic surround effects in dedicated home cinema environments. CRYSTAL CLEAR HIGHS
The tweeter of the Magnat Cinema Ultra RD 200 was developed to deliver exceptional clarity and the finest high-frequency details while meeting the strict requirements of the THX®-Ultra2 standard. It features an oversized 1.65″/4 cm high-performance polyfiber compound cone, ensuring precise and dynamic high-frequency reproduction over a wide frequency range.
A computer-optimized waveguide baffle with an integrated diffuser improves dispersion behavior and creates a generous, immersive soundstage with uniform sound distribution. Driven by a powerful neodymium magnet system, the tweeter offers high efficiency and excellent performance. The precisely wound voice coil is mounted on a ventilated aluminum former, ensuring excellent thermal stability and long-term reliability.
Housed in a massive die-cast aluminum enclosure with a large pole core opening and multiple damped coupling chambers, the design achieves a particularly low resonant frequency and effectively minimizes distortion. A removable cover completes the design and ensures an elegant, subtle appearance – without compromising acoustic transparency.
DETAILED MID-RANGE FREQUENCIES
At the heart of the Magnat Cinema Ultra RD 200 is a powerful woofer/mid-range driver, developed for maximum precision and clarity. Its flow-optimized die-cast aluminum basket offers exceptional stability while reducing compression effects and mechanical resonances. A powerful magnet system with integrated inductance control rings keeps distortion to a minimum, even at high volumes.
The voice coil is extensively ventilated to ensure excellent heat dissipation, high operational safety, and long-term reliability even under continuous load. A stiff ceramic-aluminum sandwich diaphragm with a matching dust cap ensures extremely precise sound reproduction across the entire frequency range. Securely fastened to the baffle with eight screw points, the driver is firmly anchored and guarantees vibration-free performance and exact acoustic control – ideal for the most demanding home cinema environments.

The Magnat Cinema Ultra RD 200 is equipped with a highly sophisticated crossover, carefully designed to meet the demanding specifications of the THX®-Ultra2 standard. Precisely amplitude- and phase-optimized, it ensures seamless integration of the drivers and a balanced, natural sound reproduction across the entire frequency range.
