The Magnat Cinema Ultra LCR 100-THX delivers professional audio performance in home cinema format. As a THX®-Ultra2 certified speaker, it impresses equally as a front, center, or right channel, offering intense dynamics, pinpoint detail resolution, and cinema-accurate frequency reproduction.
Two 6.5″ / 17 cm woofers and a specially developed dome tweeter in a D'Appolito arrangement guarantee outstanding clarity, precise control, and seamless dialogue reproduction – even at reference volume.
The LCR 100-THX was developed according to strict THX®-Ultra2 criteria and reproduces film sound with impressive precision. Its closed cabinet consistently follows the THX standard and allows a frequency response from 80 Hz for front and surround applications. This ensures uniform radiation, phase-coherent reproduction, and controlled performance without low-frequency extension.
Visually, the speaker embodies the characteristic Cinema-Ultra stealth design: A deep black silk matte lacquered, offset baffle meets an anthracite-colored cabinet with a brushed metal structure. The woofers are stylishly highlighted by trim rings in matte black with a black high-gloss chrome accent.
By using identical speakers for the left, center, and right channels, the Magnat Cinema Ultra LCR 100-THX ensures perfect tonal homogeneity across the entire front stage. This concept guarantees seamless transitions, consistent timbre, and precise imaging – for a fully immersive and coherent cinema sound experience, fully in line with THX®-Ultra2 standards.
The Magnat Cinema Ultra LCR 100-THX offers high installation flexibility for seamless integration into any home cinema setup. A rotatable Magnat/THX® logo enables correct optical alignment, regardless of whether the speaker is mounted vertically or horizontally. The removable fabric cover is acoustically transparent and is attached via invisible magnets – for a clear, minimalist look.
The versatile mounting system includes VESA-compatible wall brackets, sturdy metal angles with silicone spacers for secure vertical or horizontal mounting, and silicone feet for a firm stand on furniture or shelves. This allows the LCR 100-THX to be flexibly adapted to almost any room conditions and desired speaker position.

DEEP BASS, LOW DISTORTION
The low/mid-range driver of the Magnat Ultra Cinema LCR 100-THX was developed for maximum sound fidelity and high dynamics in demanding cinema setups. Its flow-optimized die-cast aluminum chassis prevents compressions and resonances, while the powerful magnet system with inductance control rings ensures low distortion and high linearity. A ventilated voice coil guarantees excellent thermal stability, and the stiff ceramic-aluminum membrane delivers precise, distortion-free mids and lows. The eight-point mounting enables a vibration-free and acoustically stable installation.
LARGE TWEETER WITH WAVEGUIDE FOR WIDER RADIATION
The tweeter of the Magnat Ultra Cinema LCR 100-THX is a highly efficient, high-precision driver developed according to THX®-Ultra2 standards. Its large 1.65″ polyfiber membrane and neodymium magnet system enable a wide transmission range and high dynamics, while the computer-optimized waveguide ensures controlled radiation and precise spatial imaging. A ventilated aluminum voice coil and the die-cast housing minimize resonances and ensure clean, extended highs.
Integrated in a D'Appolito arrangement between two midrange speakers, the tweeter achieves improved vertical radiation, reduced lobing, and perfect wavefront alignment – ideal for high-end cinema and multi-channel systems.
HIGH-QUALITY CONNECTION TERMINAL
The Magnat Ultra Cinema LCR 100-THX features an elaborately developed crossover, which is amplitude- and phase-optimized to meet the strict THX®-Ultra2 standards. This complex design ensures seamless integration of the chassis, precise spatial imaging, and exact tonal balance across the entire frequency range.
A high-quality single-wiring connection terminal with gold-plated, acrylic-sealed contacts ensures reliable signal transmission and long-term durability and maintains signal purity even in demanding home cinema environments.
ROCK-SOLID CABINET CONSTRUCTION
The cabinet of the Magnat Ultra Cinema LCR 100-THX is an extremely stable, low-resonance MDF construction designed for maximum acoustic performance and minimal sound coloration. A 30 mm thick baffle and internal bracing ensure an extremely solid construction and enable distortion-free reproduction even at reference levels.
The closed cabinet construction ensures absolutely silent operation without interference or background noise – completely in line with the stringent THX®-Ultra2 standards.
