Despite its compact dimensions, the RS 8 delivers impressive low-frequency performance. Its powerful 20 cm woofer, Klippel®-optimized drive system and Class D amplifier ensure controlled bass down to 25 Hz – ideal for bookshelf speaker systems or compact AV setups. The coated paper cone and ventilated voice coil are designed for demanding reproduction and guarantee clarity and control even at high levels.

 

The RS 8 features both low-level inputs (RCA) and high-level inputs (speaker terminals), making it compatible with modern receivers and older amplifiers without a subwoofer output. An adjustable crossover and phase adjustment ensure seamless integration with existing speakers. Thanks to the auto-on/off function and energy-saving standby mode, the subwoofer operates efficiently, practically and is always ready when you are.

Whether in a 2.1 stereo setup or as part of a 5.1 home theater system - the Alpha RS 8 gives the sound more depth, pressure and atmosphere without dominating the room. This makes it the ideal solution for bedrooms, offices or apartments where high-quality bass is required, but space is limited.
