At the heart of the MA 900 are two hand-picked ECC-81 tubes in the preamp, which have been burned in and selected in pairs to ensure superior sound performance.
Their smooth, harmonious sound character combines with discretely designed Class A/B transistor power amplifiers to create a unique symbiosis of analog warmth and precise transistor technology. A complexly designed power supply including a shielded toroidal transformer ensures maximum stability and a particularly low noise level - regardless of the selected source.

With five analog line inputs, a 3.5 mm front jack, four digital inputs (2 × optical, 2 × coaxial) and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, the MA 900 supports everything from classic turntables to modern streaming sources.
The phono stage is designed for both MM and MC pickups, while advanced functions such as source naming and gain adjustment allow for fine tuning of the setup with audiophile precision.

Enclosed in a robust metal housing with a solid aluminum front, the MA 900 impresses both visually and mechanically across the board.
A two-line display, aluminum rotary controls and the warm glow of the tubes reflect its classic roots, while modern features such as a system remote control, a mono switch and adjustable display brightness make daily use particularly comfortable. A true centerpiece with substance - in performance as well as in design.

HIGH-QUALITY HYBRID PREAMPLIFIER TECHNOLOGY

At the heart of the Magnat MA 900 is a high-quality, low-noise tube preamplifier with two hand-picked and pre-run ECC-81 tubes that deliver the warm, detailed sound character that only true tube technology can offer.

Audiophile MM and MC phono inputs are equipped with extremely low-noise Texas Instruments operational amplifiers and have an integrated subsonic filter - ideal for discerning vinyl lovers.

The variety of connections is comprehensive: Five analog RCA inputs, a 3.5 mm front connector for portable devices, and four digital inputs (2 × optical, 2 × coaxial) support high-resolution audio signals up to 192 kHz / 24 bit. Wireless streaming is via Bluetooth® 5.0 with support for Qualcomm® aptX® HD and guarantees high-resolution, low-latency playback.

A high-quality Cirrus Logic® DAC ensures precise and natural digital-to-analog conversion. Convenience features such as SOURCE GAIN (individual level adjustment per input by ±6 dB) and SOURCE RENAME (freely configurable input names with up to 14 characters) offer high user-friendliness and maximum flexibility in system integration.

Enclosed in a robust full metal housing with a solid, brushed aluminum front, the MA 900 combines high durability with elegant design.
The haptic experience is complemented by solid aluminum controls that allow for precise and confident operation.

The speaker connections are designed as insulated screw terminals and are designed for large cable cross-sections, which guarantees a secure and stable connection. Stable device feet with damping rubber inserts minimize vibrations and thus contribute to improved sound purity.

POWERFUL A/B AMPLIFICATION AND AUDIOPHILE-GRANDE POWER SUPPLY

The Magnat MA 900 is equipped with a discretely designed Class A/B power amplifier that offers exceptional dynamics and control.
With 200 watts of continuous sine wave power per channel into 4 ohms and up to 2 × 320 watts of maximum pulse power, it drives even demanding speakers effortlessly, clearly and confidently.

To support this performance, the MA 900 has a complexly designed power supply with a shielded toroidal transformer and high-capacitance filter capacitors, which ensure a stable and noise-free power supply. The supply voltage of the individual circuit areas is separately stabilized, which minimizes interference and ensures maximum signal integrity over the entire signal path.

An efficient standby power supply reduces power consumption in standby mode to less than 0.5 watts and thus meets current energy saving standards - without compromising on performance.

USER FRIENDLINESS

The MA-900 has a mono switch for analog sources, a record-out output with a fixed level, and a high-quality 6.3 mm headphone output for undisturbed listening pleasure.
The two-line plain text display offers a brightness that can be adjusted in three stages, ensuring optimum readability under all lighting conditions.

The included system remote control allows convenient and complete control of all functions - for maximum control and maximum ease of use.
