At the heart of the MA 900, two hand-selected ECC-81 tubes work in the preamplifier, which have been burned in and matched in pairs to ensure superb sound performance.
Their smooth, harmonious sound character combines with discreetly built Class A/B transistor power amplifiers to create a unique symbiosis of analog warmth and precise transistor technology. An elaborately designed power supply including a shielded toroidal transformer ensures maximum stability and a particularly low noise level - regardless of the selected source.
With five analog line inputs, a 3.5mm front jack, four digital inputs (2 × optical, 2 × coaxial), and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, the MA 900 supports everything - from classic turntables to modern streaming sources.
The phono stage is designed for both MM and MC cartridges, while advanced features such as source naming and gain adjustment allow for fine tuning of the setup with audiophile precision.

A high-quality Cirrus Logic® DAC ensures precise and natural digital-to-analog conversion. Convenience functions such as SOURCE GAIN (individual level adjustment per input by ±6 dB) and SOURCE RENAME (freely configurable input names with up to 14 characters) offer high user-friendliness and maximum flexibility for system integration.

POWERFUL A/B AMPLIFICATION AND AUDIOPHILE-GRADE POWER SUPPLY
The Magnat MA 900 is equipped with a discreetly built Class A/B power amplifier that offers exceptional dynamics and control.
With 200 watts of continuous sine wave power per channel into 4 ohms, as well as up to 2 × 320 watts of maximum impulse power, it effortlessly, clearly, and confidently drives even demanding loudspeakers.
To support this capability, the MA 900 features an elaborately designed power supply with a shielded toroidal transformer and high-capacity filter capacitors, ensuring a stable and noise-free power supply. The supply voltage of the individual circuit areas is separately stabilized, minimizing interference and ensuring maximum signal integrity throughout the entire signal path.
An efficient standby power supply reduces energy consumption in standby mode to less than 0.5 watts, thus meeting current energy-saving standards - without compromising performance.
EASE OF USE
The MA-900 features a mono switch for analog sources, a fixed-level record-out output, and a high-quality 6.3mm headphone output for undisturbed listening pleasure.
