The Magnat Interior IC 82 is a hi-fi ceiling speaker designed for powerful sound distribution in large areas and is ideal for medium to large rooms.

Equipped with an 8″ / 20 cm woofer made of carbon/fiberglass composite material and two 0.75″ / 20 mm aluminum tweeters, the IC 82 supports both targeted and wide-area sound radiation. The multi-directivity circuit adapts flexibly to the room acoustics and ensures clear, precise reproduction even in open or complexly cut rooms.

The subtle design allows seamless integration into the ceiling. Thanks to standardized installation dimensions and an uncomplicated installation concept, assembly is quick and easy.

The Magnat IC 82 features a dual tweeter design that significantly improves both sound quality and flexibility. The two tweeters achieve a wider high-frequency dispersion, so that music and dialogues are distributed more evenly in the room. Especially in open living areas or rooms with a convoluted floor plan, this concept ensures a consistently balanced sound coverage that would be difficult to achieve with a single tweeter.

The integrated, optimized crossover system ensures precise tuning of high, mid and low frequencies. This creates a harmonious, clear sound - even with complex pieces of music or demanding film soundtracks.

The Magnat IC 82 is also designed for use as a surround speaker. For this application, the switch on the crossover is switched from "Norm" to "Surr".

In normal mode, the sound can be specifically directed to a certain area of the room. In surround mode, on the other hand, a diffuse sound field is generated, which enables a particularly spatial and immersive reproduction.

The Easy-Fit system and robust clamping arms enable tool-free installation in most materials. High-quality crossovers and connection terminals ensure clean and low-loss signal transmission.

The Magnat IC 82 recessed ceiling speakers are versatile. They are ideal for living rooms, kitchens or home offices in the private sector and are also ideal for commercial environments such as offices, sales areas, restaurants or hotels.

TWEETER TECHNOLOGY

The Magnat Interior IC 62 and IC 82 feature a twin-tweeter design with two 0.75″/20 mm aluminum dome tweeters powered by powerful neodymium magnet systems. This concept ensures excellent high-frequency resolution and particularly wide sound dispersion.

The special orientation of the tweeters in combination with the integrated multi-directivity circuit enables acoustic optimization for a wide variety of room conditions. This ensures precise and even sound distribution throughout the listening area.

MID- AND LOW-FREQUENCY RANGE

The reproduction of midranges and basses is handled by a robust chassis with a light yet stiff carbon fiber diaphragm. This combination ensures clear, detailed mids as well as powerful and controlled bass performance.

Material selection and construction guarantee excellent impulse fidelity with minimal distortion - even at higher volumes.

CROSSOVER AND CONNECTIONS

Equipped with a high-quality APOC crossover (Amplitude and Phase Optimized Crossover), the IC 62 and IC 82 ensure seamless transitions between the frequency ranges and precise spatial imaging.

A solid, gold-plated speaker terminal guarantees a secure, low-loss connection and ensures stable, high-fidelity performance at the highest level in the long term.
