Space-saving with a coherent sound balance

The Lyngdorf D-6 is an in-wall alternative to traditional two-way bookshelf or stand mount speakers, delivering a very coherent sound balance and well-integrated bass. It has a rectangular upright design compared to the square D-5, and a lighter, low-profile construction with no pre-mounted mdf enclosure, suitable for lighter walls.

Low-profile and space-saving construction

The D-6 comes without the mdf enclosure of the D-5 and D-60 models, allowing a more light, low-profile, and space-saving construction. It still offers a very high sound quality by using high-quality drive-units mounted on a low-resonance mdf baffle.

Coherent sound balance

The 6.5” / 18cm woofer and the soft dome tweeter mounted on a dense mdf baffle provide the coherent and balanced sound performance known from typical 2-way stand-mount or bookshelf speakers.

Easy to drive

With a sensitivity of 89dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohm the D-6 is very easy to drive for any amplifer. It also allows a high SPL and has a high long-term power handling.
