What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 93/100
Reviewers portray the Klipschorn as an unusually lifelike, highly immediate speaker whose scale and realism make music feel close to live performance. Its defining strengths are explosive, clean dynamic expression and substantial horn-loaded bass, while imaging is large and convincing rather than ultra-pinpoint in focus.
Bass
96/100
Dagogo describes bass that reaches full output from modest amplifier power and can be genuinely thunderous. Crucially, the low end is said to retain musical overtones rather than obscuring them, supporting the speaker's reputation for natural, authoritative weight.
Mid
92/100
The horn midrange is praised for staying clean and composed during dense instrumental outbursts. Reviewers also connect the speaker's midband presentation with convincing realism, musicality, and a sense of compression-free life.
Treble
89/100
Dagogo notes the specified 17.5kHz roll-off, an unusually limited figure on paper, but reports being consistently satisfied with the highs in practice. The reviewer heard no meaningful loss of top-end information versus other speakers in the same room, and found the horn treble clean under pressure.
Soundstage Imaging
91/100
Corner placement produces a large, life-size stage with a precise center image, strong delineation, and impressive depth according to Dagogo. The same review qualifies this by saying the horns are not quite peerless in image crystallization, so the presentation favors scale and dimensionality over the last word in pinpoint focus.
Dynamics
97/100
Dynamics are the Klipschorn's most emphatic strength. Tech Reviews says it can almost knock down walls, while Dagogo calls its dynamic realism unrivaled and reports clean, full-blown transients and dimensionality even at high levels or with low-powered amplification.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
50/100
The supplied reviews focus on listening impressions and provide little direct commentary on cabinet construction, finish, hardware, or long-term durability. They do confirm that correct corner installation is central to how the speaker operates, but do not closely assess craftsmanship.
Value for Money
85/100
At the listed $25,999.98-$26,999 price, the Klipschorn is a serious luxury purchase. None of the supplied reviews directly compares its value with similarly priced alternatives, though their strong praise for its distinctive realism, efficiency, bass authority, and dynamics indicates why it remains compelling for the right listener.
