Pros
Warm-neutral, easy-listening sound with clean, non-fatiguing treble and strong detail.
Plays loudly with little strain, combining convincing drive with a spacious, deep soundstage.
Real-wood veneer and substantial cabinets deliver an unusually upscale appearance and build for the category.
Cons
A 100-200Hz bass rise can make some notes sound overpronounced; careful placement, port plugging, or EQ may be needed.
Imaging is strongest between the speakers, with less sharply focused spatial cues beyond their outer boundaries.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 90/100
Reviewers describe a composed, pleasantly neutral floorstander with warmth, clarity, and an easygoing character that remains involving at both low and high volume. Its strongest traits are its clean, spacious top end and unstrained dynamic delivery, although careful positioning is advisable to avoid an overfull upper-bass balance.
Bass
91/100
The bass-reflex cabinet was said to hit hard, while Robinson found good texture and detail extending from the bass into the midrange. He also heard a rise around 100-200Hz that can make some notes overpronounced, so placement experimentation is important; this is not presented as a deliberately thumpy party speaker.
Mid
88/100
Guitar was reported to have convincing presence and drive, and the overall presentation was praised for its body, warmth, and neutral balance. Robinson noted that the upper-bass lift can slightly cloud intelligibility, which keeps voices and instruments from sounding entirely uncolored.
Treble
91/100
The tweeter earned praise for sparkle, spaciousness, sheen, and extension without sounding bright, metallic, or aggressive. Reviewers found it composed and fatigue-free, though its polite demeanor may be less immediately attention-grabbing than more forward rivals.
Soundstage Imaging
87/100
Wetzel heard plentiful soundstage depth and a spacious presentation. Robinson found the stage strongest and most sharply focused between the cabinets, with decent but less precise spatial information extending beyond the speaker boundaries.
Dynamics
92/100
Dynamic handling was repeatedly a strength: live music had convincing drive, and the speaker was described as superdynamic. It can play loudly with little strain, building naturally rather than shouting.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
91/100
Reviewers found the substantial 3/4-inch MDF cabinets and real walnut veneer unusually handsome and impressive for the asking price. The drivers, brushed-aluminum trim, and magnetic grilles contribute to a mature, upscale presentation, although the visible driver screws are a small cosmetic compromise.
Value for Money
90/100
At roughly $2,000 per pair, the Kendall 2F was favorably compared with the similarly priced Monitor Audio Silver 300 and described as a refined, phenomenal affordable-hi-fi option. The real-wood veneer, strong finish quality, and ten-year parts-and-labor warranty further strengthen its appeal against similarly priced towers.
