With a proper seal, reviewers hear nicely extended sub-bass, controlled mid-bass and enjoyable texture without excessive dominance. However, impact is described as softer than ideal, and one reviewer found the bass detached from the mix or entirely lost when the seal failed.

The positive account describes slightly forward but non-shouty mids with good vocal presence, natural-ish tone and timbre. Other listening reports found the middle frequencies thin and hollow, while The Headphone Show identified excess glare around 4kHz.

Treble has air and energy for the reviewer who enjoyed the Singolo, though even that account calls the upper range slightly spicy. More critical reviewers repeatedly report shrillness around 6–7kHz and a crisp, granular, harsh quality that can make the presentation fatiguing.

Separation is considered decent for the price, and the Singolo can keep elements reasonably defined rather than turning dense passages into a blur. Detail retrieval and resolution are otherwise characterized as average for its class, with tonal issues sometimes obscuring distinctions between instruments.

One reviewer found useful depth, layering and a convincing sense of front-to-back placement despite limited width. Another found the stage tight and largely confined between the ears, so spatial performance is more competent than expansive.
