The new-version EX-P27 builds on Kinki’s reference preamplifier philosophy — true Class-A bias, fully discrete input and output stages and a discrete R2R volume control — and adds HT Bypass for seamless home-theatre integration.
Resistor-ladder volume control
Instead of a potentiometer, the EX-P27 uses an advanced microprocessor-controlled, relay-based R2R step attenuator.
An ultra-precise fine linear control lets you make exact adjustments even late at night — accurate, stable and reliable, with no added distortion or noise.
Quality and performance over cost
A relay-controlled multistep attenuator with precision, hand-matched resistors delivers low-noise, low-distortion, uncoloured reproduction.
The aim is the most transparent, accurate sound — the occasional soft relay click at certain steps is completely normal and harmless.
Gold PCB · dual-mono construction
An extremely high-cost 0.2µm gold-plated PCB, with increased solder area and extensive shielding to overcome the limits of ordinary boards.
A dual-mono layout keeps the left and right supplies separate within a single chassis, improving channel separation to better than 106dB.
HT Bypass · balanced throughout
Four balanced XLR and four RCA inputs feed a fully balanced line stage with just 75Ω output impedance — an easy, transparent partner for any power amplifier.
HT Bypass passes a home-theatre channel straight through, integrating two-channel and surround systems without compromise.
