What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 93/100
The Prism is described as an unusually complete and polished stand-mount, with The Absolute Sound finding no obvious weak area. Its presentation combines controlled bass, an uncoloured midrange, smooth treble, expansive imaging and lively dynamic contrasts.
Bass
89/100
The review praises the Prism's bass extension and control, calling its low-frequency reach fully satisfactory by reasonable standards. For a compact speaker, it appears to deliver articulate, well-extended bass rather than merely a lean or lightweight foundation.
Mid
94/100
The midrange is described as impressively pure and uncoloured. That points to convincing vocal and instrumental timbre, with little editorial character imposed on recordings.
Treble
94/100
High frequencies are praised as smooth, extended and free from noticeable grain. The review suggests a detailed but refined top end that avoids the etched or fatiguing character sometimes associated with highly revealing speakers.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
The Prism is said to throw a soundstage that is both deep and wide, with precise placement of performers. Its ability to reveal the space around instruments and voices should suit listeners who prioritise convincing stereo scale and image focus.
Dynamics
94/100
The review calls the Prism dynamically alive and capable of startling contrasts. This indicates strong expression of both small shifts in intensity and larger musical swings for a speaker of its size.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
92/100
The cabinetry is described as superbly finished and substantial in feel. Reviewers say little about long-term durability or internal construction, but the reported fit, finish and heft are clearly premium.
Value for Money
85/100
The reviewed price was $3,699. The review offers no direct comparison with similarly priced rivals or explicit judgment of value, though its exceptionally positive overall assessment suggests the performance is being presented as appropriate for a premium stand-mount.
